My daughter loves the movie, though I have a feeling that the plot is not designed to appeal as much to adults. There are some disturbing scenes involving adults physically assaulting, and even trying to kill children. IF you child is pre-teen, I would suggest that you watch the movie, or at least get a very good idea about the plot before you let you child watch it.

The characters are likable. It's kind of a love story with a side of sci-fi. Parts I really enjoyed with other areas that moved to slow. The effects are good. Plan to read the novel. I hear it's quite different from the movie. But, then again, most movies do differ from the books in general.

I had no idea what to expect when I watched this movie, I was unfamiliar with the story and had only seen a few movie trailers. I'm a fan of these type of movies so I was excited to see it. The acting was fine, the story line was ok, but not the best.

Yet another sci-fi kids movie. But this time the kids need to take back control of their fate and save future generations. A bit out there for the pre-teen set as these kids are radiating energies of all kinds.

I thought this was a great movie. I had purchased for my grandchildren but ended up viewing with them. It had me glued to my seat from start to the very end. It kind of reminded me of the gifted. I liked how these-erased the children according to their talents. Great movie. I hope they make a sequel.

It's an OK movie they could have done more with the story line The left quite a bit open that would suggest there there will be a sequel

We never saw it, but decided to buy it when I was out with my 11 year old son. Had my best friends kids over with my two kids, ages ranged from 6 to 13. They all were enthusiastic and entertained. Even my husband and I were into it. Great movie night watch with the family.

This film did not gain much audience in the theater. So, I decided to look at. So far it's okay, it's entertaining, not bad at all.

Very good movie for the Family, the storyline and affects are decent, would recommend this for the Family Movie Night.

We enjoyed this movie. I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5. Worth watching once as a rental or if you can find it cheap.

Both my kids have read the series of "Darkest Minds" books. Enjoyed them thoroughly. Movie was a hit with them too.

Good science fiction movie that has some unique qualities but takes from many recent scifi pics of last 20 years

First movie in the series it was a pretty sound movie. Story line wasnt as strong as it could be though

I have not seen this movie, but I got it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it.

Not knowing what to expect, I really enjoyed this movie. It was a little scarier than Harry Potter, but a good watch. Love it if they made another movie that picked up from where this one left off!
