Very good movie top notch cast And lots of blood and guts

This movie is not for everyone, but I love it. Wish they had a steelbook of this because it's that special to me. Slip cover is cool, the details embossed and the colors and design are very Left For Dead/Pop Art.

Excellent cast! Excellent acting even though the cast is behaving as though they are good actors seemingly purposely performing badly. Viewers need to appreciate the humor of the meta aspect to really enjoy it. Breaking down the wall between what a character is doing in the movie/in the storyline and what is happening with the actual actor portraying that character is a little too intentional at times. Similar to Coffee and Cigarettes where Bill Murray is portraying Bill Murray in a very Bill-Murray-as-acted-through-the-eyes-of-Bill-Murray-way. Like Robert Downey's line "I'm a dude, playing a dude, who's pretending to play another dude..." Although hilarious (again if you get the silly meta humor of it all) it's pushed to the point where it overtakes the joke of it all. Regardless, I recommend the movie because of the cast. Can't go wrong with the group!

I laughed my rear end off during this whole movie. I love Bill Murray and his other work with Jim Jarmusch. First, this isn't a zombie movie. It's more of a spoof and a satire on zombie movies. The humor is dry. Like the difference between Jay Leno comedy and David Letterman comedy. The Tilda Swinton part is so well done and deserves an academy award. The inside script jokes, well, I don't want to ruin the movie but it's hilarious. The diverse cast really makes this movie stand out. As one reviewer said, "no one else in the theater was laughing but me." If you have a weird sense of humor you'll love this. So glad i bought it.

Like the title states, this movie is not what you think or expect it to be with the large cast. It's a very calm and slow paced movie. There are some casual jokes in there with some 4th wall breaking added in. I still enjoyed it but I was expecting similar humor to Zombieland. If you watch this movie understand that it is not constant laughing material and it doesn't pick up at any point. Buyer beware.

This is only for Jim Jarmusch fans. If you are looking for a zombie movie and you are not familiar with his work, you will probably not like this movie. But if you are a fan, this is a really fun genre movie that plays within and subverts common tropes. The cast is amazing... all of the crazy characters, from leads to bit parts, are played by great actors reciting their lines in the laconic way that characters speak in Jarmusch films.

If you're not familiar with Jarmusch, you may not enjoy this film. If you're looking for something like Zombieland, you most definitely won't like it. It's very much in the style of a heavy dialogue Jarmusch, with some, but little action. The trailer may be a little misleading for some.

Wanted to see this film in the movies but wasn't able to but the combination of Bill Murray and Adam Driver plus the rest of the ensemble cast made this an easy choice to purchase. Not in the funny sense of Zombieland it still has a dark humor that carries the movie well. We enjoyed it and we will probably see it again and we feel you will enjoy it also.

At first I won’t lie I was a bit disappointed because of the price of 22 bucks and........I was like okay when and where will they start to show all the Action! I wasn’t a fan at all the first time around! But the second and third time I watched it I completely loved it! I honestly had seen the writer directors point of view and sense of direction with the story lines and comedy horror punch lines in the way he set them up to be delivered and were going! I liked it I know a lot of people won’t just because of the comedy timing and the slow paced this was going! But it’s definitely worth buying and watching! I definitely would recommend waiting till the price comes down which will happened in atleast a few more weeks!

why i gave it three stars??? great cast! and gorgeous selena gomez! hah. anyways, the premise of the movie was simple, the planet stopped rotating and starts going backwards which causes a lot of weir stuff happening left and right. the creepiness and the tension start off amazing, theeeennnnn the zombies start talking, yeah....they talk...and they some stupid things. they come back to continue doing the things they loved doing when they were alive. that is where i just lost it.... am sorry this wasn't even funny (even is that is what they were trying to go for) it was just straight stupid. then an alien is involved and.... blah why even bother friends... just wait till its free somewhere

May not be a movie for every one because it's very meta at times. The humor may not land for every one but I enjoyed it.

Just when you think that you have seen the last of zombie movies, and new one pops up. This one had a great twist to it, and was a lot of fun to watch. Not high budget, and has a lot of tongue in cheek, and innuendo to add to the fun.

This film is not what I expected but it’s still a fun viewing experience. The star studded cast is a bonus. Tilda Swinton probably have the most memorable performance.

I thought this film was good, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, mainly for the cast. The story is pretty good. I'd say, this film is worth purchasing for $10 to $15.

Just a fun zombie movie! Nothing that will win a Oscar! But the cast is gold! And did I mention zombies?! Any horror or comedy fans will enjoy this film!

This movie was pretty good, not as funny as Shaun of the Dead. Tilda Swinton and Adam Driver were great characters, I just wish it had ended differently.

Funny movie, a lot of dead-pan humor, so many references to the movie itself or other movies. Very entertaining.

A bit weird and goofy. Breaking the fourth wall on a regular basis. You'll either love it or hate it.
