Crisp black & white film. True story. ....very accurate telling of the Annie Frank Story.

One of the movies that really tug at your heart, awesome price just wish came in digital

This intimate epic was a carefully crafted by director George Stevens as a prestige picture and was mostly successful. It’s appropriately in B&W, and if the widescreen ratio seems to damage the intimacy, it’s handled as well as could be hoped, and the performances are generally excellent, though Millie Perkins reads a tad too old as the title character (likewise Richard Beymer and Diane Baker), though such has often been common practice in Hollywood films. The supplements are extensive and generous, and for the discounted price you can’t go wrong. Pick it up before Disney makes this Fox title difficult to acquire.

I have never seen this movie but am glad to be able to add it to my collection at this on sale price. Can't wait to catch up with it.

Since i like wwii movies and this one is a true story about Ana Frank, i enjoyed it very much

This is a terrific movie telling the true story of Anne Frank. She hid in the attic in Amsterdam so she wouldn't get caught by the German soldiers aka "N*zis. Apparently I can't type that here. You see Anne Frank happened to be Jewish. It's a Holocaust story that is sad of course but it's a really good story. The Holocaust DID happen so definitely check out this movie! Great blu ray transfer too!
