I have always loved the elder Scrolls games and this one had a rough start but constant improvements make it a good buy and I love that you can purchase this and have everything else you need already.

Amazing game. Better then WoW plus with all the dlc you could spend years doing everything.

Two web chats and three phone calls later and I am no closer to playing the actual game. Buy the physical, boxed version with an actual disc. Digital downloads are non-refundable and non-returnable. Call #4 has ended in a disconnect. Call #5 has ended with the store wanting me to screenshot the errors I am encountering.

If you purchase it online, you will get a Code in your email saying Code:0. So you won't have a product key to activate in steam. On the Digital Library it will say Code:0 and the instructions link in the Digital Library will give you a broken link. From what the forums have been saying its an issue that has been going on for awhile and has not been addressed. So if you want your game you have to jump through some loops. Just beware. But you can purchase from in store and have the digital code on your receipt.

This comes with the base game and Elsweyr. The instructions that were sent was wrong. It'll tell you to go to EA Origin to download the game, but if you try that it'll say the code is invalid. Instead, go to elder scroll's website directly, create an account and redeem it there.

The game itself is fun and looks great. Follow these instructions to install your game: You will be sent a CD key or CODE fr this game. 1. Go to https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/home 2. Create a free account 3. There will be a button to Redeem Code. 4. Redeem your code by cutting and pasting it from the Best Buy email. 5. Download and install. No need for Steam...

This is not a review of the game but rather Best Buys "Digital Download" option. I got the same result as Holy mentions in his review. DO NOT buy online. I called customer service and was told to expect an email from them in 24-48 hours with an alternate means of downloading. I could have driven to the physical store in the amount of time I have wasted since I ordered this and certainly many times in 24-48 hours. I absolutely regret ordering through them. Digital Download is supposed to be a convenience. I should be refunded and reimbursed for my inconvenience. Absolutely do not recommend.

Purchased the digital download. Got the email that it was ready to be downloaded. Click the download provided by link to access the download. Get a page saying simply and only this: Not found. That was the sum of text on the error page. LOL Hopefully they'll make this right. Also the redemption code was a steam code and it was also odd. It was literally just 1 number.
