I have to be honest, I purchased this game only to play online with friends who are really into Oblivion, Skyrim, etc and it was our chance to socialize. It's not my cup of tea, but it's a fun game with lots to do.. running around from quest to quest and getting attacked by large spiders and those darn skamps (sp?)

I have only been playing since Elderscrolls III Morrowind. I feel like the game has been much less hackable each time and seeming to have much better graphics, more room to roam, but less intricate.
This game follows exactly that pattern, but now includes multiplayer. I have had a lot of fun playing this so far.

This game is fun and gives a lot of play as it is a MMORPG, however, I don't get the same sense of aw that I got when I played Skyrim, which is strange because this game is physically larger. Overall it is a solid game that will give many hours of enjoyment for fans of MMOs and The Elder Scrolls series.

I bought this game for my girlfriend and she loves it. There is so much content, she has barely scratched the surface and she has put hours into it. She is mainly playing it single player and there have been no complaints. If you are a fan of Elder Scrolls you will probably really enjoy the game.

I bought this game while buying halo 5 and COD so that is why i think this game is boring. But to be honest the graphic is great, long story line. Haven't get to the core of the story yet. Only for those who played elder scrolls before.

This game, as with many other things in life, is at it's best when in a group! There are some repetitive actions that can sometimes feel more like a chore than a game but beyond that the story lines are pretty interesting and the game play is straight forward. Over all a great time killer.

Game is consistent with the series. There are some subtle differences that would have been really difficult to pull off in a universe this large. The online PVP is excellent!!. I say....this game is definitely worth your time.

My wife and I loved the other Elder Scrolls games and having a chance to enjoy that same style game with each other is great. It requires us to have two Xbox One's to do it but in the long run these are some fun date nights and bringing us back to a relationship we had back when we were dating. Good time

I really enjoy this game. The only thing that is somewhat annoying is it takes awhile to level your professions and your character. But the quests feel endless and the maps are huge.
Also, the dungeons could use some work. I have yet to get a successful group through a dungeon.

I bought ESO and enjoyed it enough to get a second copy so my kids can play with me. I've played every game in the franchise and really enjoy being able to play with the family. Quite different than Skyrim and the others but definitely has that Elder Scrolls feel to it. Great game!

I have been a fan of Elder Scrolls since the Oblivion days. I am excited for the chance to enjoy the fantasy world alongside other online players but this game does not have the same feel as oblivion or skyrim. It's easy to lose the important feeling your character has as a role player in this massive world with so many other players. Maybe allow more control how many people you can connect with online instead of passing everybody doing the same mission as you. It's hard to beat for the price, and overall good game, but if you love the independence of older elder scrolls games then try before you buy.

After spending years playing WoW, I swore I'd never get sucked into another MMO. Well, my wife wanted "Elder Squirrels" so we bought a couple copies so we could play together. I'm actually surprised I like this more than I thought I would.
The graphics are good, though not as good as Skyrim. The gameplay actually works quite well with the controller. And the PVE questing my wife and I enjoy is actually quite a lot better than WoW. The use of instancing for quests and not a single "Kill X monsters" or "Collect X widgets" makes the story-based objectives interesting. And the best part, we only play a few hours per week and are perfectly satisfied with it. (You could spend hundreds of hours in this game if you wanted and enjoy it just as much.)

This game has surpassed all of my expectations for an MMO. Especially on a console. There are still some gameplay issues that need to be fixed but overall, you get hours upon hours of gameplay so you can't beat it for the cost! It has it's own solo play storyline so if you have never played an MMO before, you still have something you can do by yourself. Only downfall is because it is an MMO, you HAVE to play with an internet connection.

I really enjoyed Oblivion, but I'm still waiting on Skyrim for Xbox One--so for now I'll stick with ESO. It's really fun, and with such a large catalogue of quests, I think it will keep me busy while I wait for Skyrim Redux (or at least until Fallout 4 and Halo 5 release).

The game is a good MMO and a good Elder Scrolls. The problem is that neither are what is expected and so it makes the overall experience less than desired. Still fun to play and experience so much to do in the world.

The core gameplay, story, and graphical fidelity are fantastic. My only complaint (and its a big one) would be server connection issues... Getting dropped every 5 minutes does not make for a good gaming experience.

The game looks great.... the box that is. I haven't played it yet because I'm too busy playing Fallout 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X. I need more time Best Buy before I get asked for my review. So, these are my early impressions and I'll take my rewards points now.

Game is disappointing in graphics at first glance. However, the content makes up for it and the freedom to play as any class and wear any type of armor/weapons. Crafting, exploring, interacting with others, all continue to draw the player back in the game. The paid content like outfits and slightly better mounts means that players with higher real life income availability don't have too much of an advantage over regular players.

I only bought this recently, but after all of the horror stories I've heard from the first players, it's actually not bad. It's great, in fact. The style seems to be a 1st/3rd person version of Runescape(tm), which is another game I love. It is a really fun game, especially if you find a nice guild, which shouldn't be too hard if you just stick around Vulkhel Guard's blacksmithing area long enough. Not as good as Skyrim, but then again, how many games are? I can only think of one, but since it's not Bethesda's, I won't mention it.
Words of advice, when you find guild stores, do comparison shopping. Some people will sell level one food at a level 20 price, so don't fall for it. Also, if you don't have one, please buy a headset. Don't be that guy that jumps around people to communicate. If you can't afford a headset, then communicate with the emotes found in pause menu => (x button).
