If you're lucky enough to get this game during the Nicalis first print, you get a nice squishy toy. The game itself is dark and hard and not as great as Binding of Isaac (same creator). For the Switch, this title is perfect as a play on the go.

While it can be nerve wrecking to constantly die, there is some enjoyment in figuring out how to clear the level and get to the next one. Having a manual is nice and the squishy toy thing is tiny...don't leave in the proximity of a young child.

This game is HARD! Made by the guys who made Super Meat Boy, this "I Wanna be the Guy" (a free hardcore PC platforming game) style game is addictive if you're the type of gamer who likes punishment.

Simple gameplay, tight controls, and lots of collectibles im sure i can spend more time on. Beautiful looking retro game. launch edition comes with color manual like the old days.

Reminds me a lot of Super Meat Boy, but with a few additional elements, like grabbing old game carts and the tumors. I LOVE the dark yet very humorous take on the apocalypse. It's hard as can be, but can be mastered as imply as other games like it. The visuals are gorgeous as well, and the levels flow very well together.

If you’ve ever played Super Meat Boy, this won’t feel too much different. The humor in it makes the story better than SMB, but so far I do prefer the variety in SMB over TEIN. But overall it’s a great game with a lot of challenge. From the same person as SMB, so if you enjoy that at all, get this.

Made of up hundreds of single-screen stages and full of hidden optional collectables, this game is a tough-as-nails platformer that will really put your skills and patience to the test. Expect to die. A lot. Very fun if you are into more challenging games.

For fans of Super Meat Boy's gameplay and humor found in the Binding of Isacc, this game is perfect for you. Can be very difficult but I am a huge fan of McMillen's games. Happy that this came with a retro looking instruction booklet. Kudos to Nicalis!

I like this game very much.the graphics are awesome.the gameplay is like a puzzle game,the level start easy and can get a bit challenging.thats the fun part of the game..and makes it worth playing.

I love playing this game..very easy to play..the graphics are beautiful..story game play is interesting will not bore you, like some other games..overall been playing it everyday and its just great .I love it.

This game is pretty chill to play, also is funny! Having to jump from platform to platform and the little ash says funny things!! Tho maybe not for (little kids) it says a couple of bad words.

I’ve been a fan of Nicalis since I got the Binding of Isaac a few years ago, and this game oozes the same charm. Pretty tough, so not for the faint of heart, but if you like challenging platformers this game is for you.
