A free digital copy of the movie, just for pre-ordering the combo pack...which was on sale? Knowing that my Dad, my brother, and I each enjoyed the film and were interested in owning it upon release, I didn't feel we could go wrong with making the purchase. That said, I don't think the sequel was as good as the original film, but it still featured a lot of good elements for an action film and a film in the same vein as the first. Definitely hoping they do a 3rd one, but knowing this was Denzel's first ever sequel and that it was not as well-reviewed, critically, I realize this may be where we have to leave this series.

Most films on 4K now are sold with a Blu-Ray copy and a digital code included by the film studio / distributor. I’m curious why some films like this one Best Buy treats as an additional sale (free of charge) separate from the primary transaction and actually sends a separate email out like it is an additional item ordered? I would prefer the code included inside the casing of the film I purchase, not as an external product that I have to keep track of. Can someone at Best Buy please answer this question?

Unfortunately I don’t use the digital copies as much as I did in the past. However it is a nice feature and easy to redeem. It becomes an even better deal if you link all the movie accounts through movies anywhere so that you can access your digital copy in multiple vendors.

I preordered the Equilizer 2 and received a free digital code, I have never tried this before but it was simple and I was able to watch the movie before it was released on DVD, that was pretty cool.

I love his movies, and I love both of the Equalizer movies. I think he does another superb acting job in them. The action is plentiful as well. I recommend both of the Equalizer movies.

Always watch your surroundings and be your brother's keeper. Don't put too much trust on others even your colleagues, always cautious about your moves!

Not as good as the first one. I honestly think this one could’ve been done better. But still worth the watch.

Equalizer 2 is one of those rare sequels that is just as good, and sometimes better, than the original. Denzel gives us a more developed look at Robert McCall, where he came from, and who he is growing into. This film manages to balance several separate storylines, and bring them all to satisfying conclusions. I'm hoping that Washington and Fuqua give us one more Equalizer movie so that this character has a trilogy he deserves.

It's plodding and procedural, the story between McCall and his teenage project lacks interest, and the film's finale is spectacular but not quite enough reward for an otherwise slow-to-build and not particularly engaging storyline. It's but a decent successor to the wonderful original.

Equalizer 2! Denzel Washington once again! This one might be better than the last one! There close! Either way, you cannot go wrong with this movie! Action from start to finish! Just way you would expect for Denzel!

I guess I will have to wait till I get the Blue Ray In December. Was hoping to watch Equalizer Early when I pre ordered it and received the digital code but was bummed when it didnt work. They replaced it 4 times and still couldn't watch equalizer 2 early.

Overall quality of the image is sharp and colorful with excellent black level exhibiting little to no visible compression artifacts. The nultichannel audio is serviceable, with surround channels adding and provides for encompassing effects

I was a big fan of the original television series and when I heard a movie was being made I looked forward to it. I really enjoyed the movie and when I heard there was to be a sequel I hoped it would be as good and it was.

The villians go about the movie knowing denzel's character can and WILL kill them if they force him, which they do. It was fun to watch that and watch him mentor another troubled youth towards the right path.

I enjoyed this movie. Like any sequel it’s not as good as the first movie. I like Denzel as an action star. The opening seen is awesome. Shows more of a back history of the lead character.

Haven't received one of these in a while from Best Buy, but was pleased to receive the code to watch the movie early, as I missed it in theaters. Please continue doing this, Best Buy!
