have had the oppertunity to have seen Jeff Lynne's ELO last year at the hollywood bowl it was great to hear a lot of the hits that ELO put out.the listener forgets just how many radio friendly tunes they put out. this is a GREAT release

If your a oldie like me this cd covers some of the best tunes ELO has ever released.If your a fan and don't want to buy the whole catalog from ELO this is a great cd .Check it out .Can't miss with this one.

The speakers are wonderful! They are clear and have such big sound for relatively small units! I definitely recommend them to every person looking for speakers.

I've not been super-familiar with ELO but listening to certain songs made me wonder. I'm very glad to have bought this CD. The songs are grooving with great basslines. (The kind modern music has forgotten.) Great vocals and instrumental parts. And a really fun version of Roll Over Beethoven to finish. Buy it!

After hearing the song in the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opening scene (Mr. Blue Sky) and seeing the VW commercial with the King Kong float (Livin' Thing), I finally pulled the trigger and bought this album. I had heard Mr. Blue Sky before and enjoyed the tune. The band has a unique sound.

I grabbed this from the discount bin last time we were at Best Buy. Great CD .... great compliation CD!!

I loved "The Essential Electric Orchestra" on CD. All the songs in it are great. I had this album once before but I donated it last year or so but I heard a song from ELO on SiriusXM 70's on 7 that made me change my mind and buy this CD again. The song that I heard a while ago was "Shine a Little Love" originally from 1979 (40 years ago!) After hearing "Shine a Little Love", I decided to buy "The Essential Electric Light Orchestra" again and this time, I'm keeping it until my dying day. This is all I have to say on this.

I've gotten many "Greatest Hits", "Best of" and "Essential" CD's over the years, I keep buying them because the content is often different from earlier efforts. This is another example of the different music and mastering that can come with a collection. The disk was in the $5 bin at the front of the store and I couldn't resist. It's good and enjoyable for an old fan of ELO like myself.

Love listening to music while commuting, makes for a less stressful drive!

What can I say, ELO made a lot of great music in their time. It's nice to have all the hits on one CD, some I even forgot about. This CD takes me back to the good ol' days. It's a shame CD's are fading out, some of us still like the physical disc or album as an option for playing our music. Digital is good too but having the option how to listen to our tunes based on our equipment is appreciated.

An excellent collection of their best stuff. ELO is one of my top five classic rock bands. Original and off-the-beaten-path. Much of their music could be made today and you wouldn't even know the difference. The insert has a lot of great information about the songs and the history of the band. Excellent addition to the collection!

This CD has no less than 15 of their best songs including Mr. blue Sky and Can't Get It Out of My Head - my favorites. I realize that you can download music as an MP.3 these days, but the sound quality doesn't match that of a CD. It simply does not. If you really care to listen to music, buy this CD.

CD has 15 of ELO's hits. It's missing Showdown, Rockaria, and Ma-Ma-Ma Belle from the 11 song 'ELO's Greatest Hits' CD, but is adds Do Ya, Shine a Little Love, Hold On Tight, Calling America, Rock and Roll Is King, Don't Bring Me Down, and Roll Over Beethoven.

This is the 4th HP product our family has purchased at Best Buy. The laptop we recently purchased for our daughter is a sleek very easy to use machine with easy instructions and enough GB for her needs. The pricing was excellent.
