This Evil Within is much better than the first one. Everything that felt weird, out of place, or clunky in the first has been improved for this one. Its kind of hard to explain but if you're playing this from the first you will understand

Putting a greater emphasis on the survival aspect of survival horror, The Evil Within 2 demands resource management and bravery in its relatively spacious world. While common enemies are fewer in number compared to the original game, they're far more threatening alone and can easily manhandle Sebastian. There's a thoughtful approach to engagement and progression this time around, which means you'll have to think twice about whether or not to engage a group of enemies. With that said, you have a sizable arsenal of weapons and gear--including the return of the Crossbow with six different ammo types--to take on the enemies as you see fit.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, a must play for this year. Characters are great, gameplay is even better. I did not play the first, though it may have helped me understand a lot of the lore that I missed this play through. It’s great.

Takes the formula of ‘The Evil Within’ and fixes the negative aspects (letter box fixed perspective, graphical dips etc.) the game stands on its own as a strong step forward for the franchise. Highly recommend for horror fans.

I really enjoyed the first game since there aren't too many survival horror games around anymore. This one offers a more open world experience which is welcomed. Should keep the average player on the edge of their seat

The Evil within 2 puts you back in stem once again, this time for something new. The Evil Within 2 is survival horror at its finest! A phenomenal sequel to the first and a MUST HAVE for fans of survival horror games

If you're a fan of horror games, you'll like this game. It's definitely not for everyone however still a great game if you one that likes to jump out their seat in scary moments.

a fun and scary somewhat open world horror game that expands ont he first one

This is a really good follow up to the first game, but it does change from linear dark hallways to open world style. Still hard and challenging in the right ways.

Evil within. Xboxone great game however I still have to finish the first one I jumped right in to the 2nd without finishing I'm differently finishing this one.

You may not expect the Evil Within 2 to do much different than the first, but that didn't stop developers from getting a little creative here and toying around with the way survival horror would work in a open world.

I love the first evil within video game and this is just as good as the first one. If your a fan of horror video games then this is the game to get.

Highly recommend if your a fan of first game and res evil type games, scary and awesome action and intense moments. Master crafted horror game.

Sometimes it's hard to pull of a sequel. especially when it's a horror/survival but EW2 did the job just right. enough gore, action, and puzzles to keep you entertained all the way through

Love playing this game but never in the dark lol. The story is just amazing if you played the first game you should play this one.

This is a great game, I played RE7 and this game has so much more to offer. It’s not as scary but the story is definitely better.

I got this game because I enjoyed the first one and am glad I did. It takes most goos things from the first and makes it better. If you enjoy horror survival shooter games this is great

My heart was racing as I sneaked away from a scary man. I then got home and started playing this game, equally as scary.

Just as the first an excellent horror survival game following the main character Sebastian going into the horror again
