Games pretty flippin scary... Takes a second to get used to, but good story

This game is quite amazing. It really makes you learn how to be stealthy in the given environment. It seems better than other horror games I have played like ZombieU for example. I really feel like I am in a horror movie that I can actually contribute to the survival of the protagonist. It may not be the ultimate game out there but for horror survival this one is at the top.

Classic survival horror game that emphasizes stealth and problem solving over combat. Not a game to pick up if you're looking to shoot monsters in the head, but a great one if you'd like to spend an evening being stressed out and startled :)

The Evil Within was created by the man behind the original Resident Evil, as well as Resident Evil 4. Although it doesn't live up to those titles, it is a solid title dragged down by technical hiccups and sometime frustrating game design.

Poor performance, and lackluster boss encounters. Though the game can produce a pretty picture at times the game is not very technically impressive due in large part to its iffy texture work and inconsistent frame rate. At times I felt I was playing a sequel to Resident Evil 4, but mostly it felt like a cheap knock off. Some will love the atmosphere and crazy set pieces, but I could not look passed its design flaws and lack of polish.

I picked this game up based on the tv commercial but was not expecting for it to be as intense as the tv commercial showed. I play this on a 65" tv with surround sound and I typically do not get spooked often but there are areas that this game did do that. It is really close to the Resident Evil 4 if you know about how that game was. Very well done and enjoyable to play.

Evil within is a decent video game with a good bit of flaws. Mediocre graphics, clunky controls and level designs could be better, but evil within is still a fun game and worth playing.
