This game was a bit of a disappointment for me. I expected this, not Alien Isolation, to be the true next gen Survival Horror experience and boy was I wrong. With beloved game designer Shinji Mikami and given the state of gaming horror at large, recently, and last gen, this game had a lot of shoes to fill. Unfortunately those shoes were filled with cement. This game is buggy, the story isn't engaging, the enemies are uninspired (zombies? really?) and for the hype it received it simply could not live up to said promotion. Look elsewhere.

This game is great for the most part. There are times is does get slowed paced and a little redundant, but aside from that it's a better approach to the survival horror in a few years..

I enjoy playing this game at night with all the lights off, really gets you into the feel of the game. Didn't really feel like these graphics fit with the PS4. But still fun overall.

The game is somewhat like silent hill in the aspect of a lot of weird stuff going on and your not sure why. Overall it's not a bad game, parts of it make me think of Clive Barker.

From the beginning, this game packs on the intensity and fear, punctuated by lulls of calm to woo you back into a sense of safety only to scare the heck out of you the next minute! Any fan of the original RE games will love this game( it is made by the same guy). Also tons of replay-ability.

Haven't finished the game yet but so far it reminded me a little of RE and Silent Hill. Overall the game has been good have noticed room for improvement in the graphics though.

The game has been good so far. Gore but not much horror. Was expecting a little more horror. Graphics are OK but not really next gen.

Sebastian character deapth is amazing you really connect to him. The way this game was made it makes you jump at random times because you never know what's goi to happen next

You WILL die a LOT. if youre a person with little patience then this is not a game for you. Didnt exactly live up to all the hype but was still a pleasure to play through.

Slow to start the Game but that's to allow you to learn The controls. Once the game gets going it gets a feel of a mix between resident evil and the last of the last of us

Got this as a Christmas gift for my son and he really liked it and the website made it easy to order and was shipped quickly directly to the house so saved a lot of time.

Fun game, some decent horror elements. Graphics are somewhat last gen, so don't go in expecting to have mind blowing visuals

The game was ok to me, it did give that "fear" factor, but I felt the controls were a little clunky and ultimately lost interest

If you like Resident Evil 4, then you will definitely enjoy this game. There is a lot more horror elements in this however and should not be played around young children.

I really did enjoy the graphics on the game but I didn't however find it a very interesting game. Not really worth 60 dollars.

I had such high expectations for this game but overall i find it too silly to take seriously. nothing like resident evil 4.

This was not the Resident Evil "spiritual successor" that it was hyped up to be. I paid $20 on Black Friday - had i paid full price i would not have been happy.

I still remember being young, watching my brother play Resident Evil through covered eyes. I grew up playing Mikami's games. Crafting the Survival Horror genre, I think that he was looking to redefine it once again, and therein lies the problem. The game focuses far too much on the climax and less on the rise, less on the suspense or atmosphere. It looks fine, plays well enough, but just lacks the certain qualities I want in a game that is supposed to make me fear going to sleep.

Violent/bloody...excellent game! I was completely blown away with how violent this game was. This game is NOT for kids or the weak of heart and I also recommend playing it in a dark room. You can see what you are doing better and adds to the creepy atmosphere!

Fun game.... However many parts and environments feel and look exactly like re4... Still worth a few plays though.
