The evil within reminded me of Shadow of the damned and resident evil 4. Although it wasn't incredible, it had alot of awesome things about it. I'm glad I bought it, but what I'm really looking forward to is the new silent hills game.

Trailers made this game seem good. Got me wanting it. Left me disappointed from the get go probably because of the graphics. Graphics were a bit less than the potential of the device. Or just oddly used. Story makes you confuse of what's going on and leaving you wondering "what the Heck." Some of you would catch on along the way of what's happening. The interaction of the characters were lacking in ways that to me felted like an old school video game done wrong. And as they said, you will die and die and die in this game. At moments, graphics did stand out and made the game look great. I think some tweaking here and there could of made this a great horror game.

This game had me on the edge of my seat as I played through it. It felt nostalgic but in a great way. imagine playing the last of us without the ability to use the listening sonar type thing. the sounds and atmosphere in this game is incredible. a must buy for survival horror fans.

If you're a fan of survival horror, this is definitely one of those pulse-pounding experiences. Resident Evil 4 fans will feel right at home.

The Evil Within is an interesting game. It's not overly terrible, but it's not incredible either. The game does get a good amount of credit for being a recent survival horror game considering the genre is severely lacking titles. The Evil Within isn't a game you really play for its' story thankfully, as it's pretty bad. Cutscenes are skippable though, so it's definitely worth playing through at least once for the creepy enemies, action, and atmosphere.

Evil within is a game more about graphic image then it is about horror. Sure it can get scary thanks to jumpscares, but theres nothing more to it. You will die but it will most likely be from dumb mistakes. Combat consist of making your bullets count but theres no worry since most of the time enemies will drop ammo or youll randomly find it. But its in no way a bad game. Cutscenes and great, Story is eh, and it can be repetitive.

Good game but very hard at times. It's very scary. You have to be fast at this game. It's a lot like resident evil. I like the game

This is one of the best games on PS4. The story arc is amazing with a lot of surprises and scares throughout.

If you're 12, you'll enjoy this game. If you're 16+, you'll hate it. This game was made for very young teenagers. The story is horrible, the dialogue is horrible, the graphics are great, but, it's just a boring, annoying, teenage, game.

I have not been into the horror games before, but had to try this one. I have to say I loved it, great gameplay, graphics, music, etc.. Overall awesome game.

Very fun and thrilling survival horror game, makes you jump at times too.

If you like games such as Resident Evil 4 you will enjoy this.

love this game, definetly keeps you on edge the whole way through

A new vision from legendary creator, Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within is a good mix between what made Resident Evil of old addicting while adding modern gameplay mechanics. The game does lose some steam in some of the chapters, and one chapter in particular can be infuriating because of insta-kills (chapter 9), but overall the game is worth playing.

I loved the game from beginning to end. Loved everything jumping out at ya and it's even crazier with headphones on and the light off.

If you liked Resident Evil then you'll appreciate this alternative take on the franchise.
