The Evil Within is a mix between Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Overall, it's a pretty good game. The only thing I don't like is that you have to save your game frequently because if you die, you have to start from the beginning of the check point again.

If you loved Resident Evil 4 like me then buy this right now! It is just like the classic we all know and love!

its a very violent gory horror game that takes some getting used to controller wise but overall cool game

Evil Within is one of those games that will stab your heart with horror. Amazing game for what it is a horror game that does it right. Straight up. I wanted to try something different . This game brings back memories of Res4 , but this game sets the bar on a overdrive level with the horror... and Sound. A MUST BUY....... So far I have 5 hours of game time. Got it the day it came out. Not in a rush to beat. Enjoying it.

If you're a fan of the older silent hill or resident evil games then this is an instant buy. A little too combat heavy but that's my personal preference. Rare to have interesting new IP these days. Loved it

First off its not perfect but I really enjoyed this game. Story is not that long around 12-15 hours but a little longer if you try for every collectable

This game was made by the guy who made Resident Evil. The graphics looks terrible. Its not fun to play, its just running away from bad guys.

This is a first Horror Game I purchased after the first RE on PS2. My My how the game graphics have changed. LOVE it and Creepy! I would recommend playing game a night with headphones on. Chills!

I only played the first 25 minutes so take it for what it is worth.... the graphics, controls, and terrible storyline introduction all seem several years behind. This barely cuts it as a ps3 game yet alone a ps4 game.if you REALLY like horror games, give it a go. However, I could not stand the glitches and basic horror gameplay, boring.

The story and premise of the game aren't bad, but the field of view SUCKS! You're constantly looking from behind your character's right shoulder leaving annoying blind spots. So you don't see all the dangers and get smoked a lot. You also can't shoot from ladders, nor can you look straight down. Very f ' in annoying. I'm disappointed I bought this.
