Movie looks great in 4k remastered a classic movie it is lacking with the special features but everything else is perfect worth the pick up

Very good movie, I'm glad they released it in 4K format, since the scenes are better seen and the sound is excellent.

The movie is great. You already know that. It's the horror film to which all others are compared. The transfer is also great. Until the last 15 minutes. I love Friedkin and I certainly grant that he has earned the right to do whatever he wants with subsequent editions of the films he has directed, but I'd call the desaturated and apparently resaturated business in the final act a failed experiment that appears even more egregious in light of how natural and period-appropriate the rest of the film looks. The inclusion of the mono track goes a long way towards mitigating my disappointment with the choices made in the color timing of that final bit, however, and does through two speakers what the newer remix can't do with 7.1: it gets under your skin without being distracting- I have no idea where the 28 mph winds are coming from in Reagan's bedroom on the 7.1. Choose the mono and rest easy. All of this said, this was Friedkin's final sign-off on how this film should look before he passed. I give it respect for that reason and I'm guessing this will be it for how this title is going to look and sound for the foreseeable future. If you're 4k capable, it's more than worth it. But it could have been transcendent.

I have had a dvd copy of this movie for about 15 years and felt that it was time to upgrade to 4k, and i am completely satisfied with the transfer. For those who know the movie you will not be disappointed with how it looks, plus you get two versions on 4k which was a nice suprise. If you have not seen this movie yet and you are a fan of the horror genre I highly recommend checking it out.

The Exorcist has never looked better. I've seen it many times over the years in many formats and this 4k version is probably the best it will ever look. The gruff look of older movies are part of their charm and 4k surprisingly can remove a little of that character at times. The Exorcist as a whole isn't the exception to the rule but the presentation is excellent nonetheless. The audio is top notch as well.

Never passed out in the theatre like they did back in the 70s when the Exorcist first Screened, but can't believe how more realistic and terrifying this film is in 4K Ultra! My advice is if you are a Diehard Fan of the original Exorcist, upgrade to 4k Ultra Blu Ray, you will not be disappointed!

Went to the story early morning to hunt this down and sadly couldn’t find it. Thankfully and employee was kind enough to go into the back and grab a brand new copy out of the box. This movie is purely amazing and looks amazing in 4K for such a old movie

This is the best that this movie has ever looked. I have had this movie on every format since VHS. Love that it has the directors cut and the theatrical cut as well. Only thing I dislike is the cover art. I should have bought the steelbook.

This classic horror film looks great on 4k and the storyline holds up pretty well also for a motion picture from 1973. The mysterious religious overtones in the plot & Linda Blair's performance make it even better.

The Exorcist is every bit as terrifying today as it was back in 1973. Linda Blair gives an exceptional performance and the audio and video presentations are spectacular.

Not only do you get both cuts on 4k blu ray, but redeeming the digital codes on Vudu gets you the 4k digi of both cuts, as well. Movie looks great, as creepy as ever.

Bought this movie during a black Friday sale which was a steal in of itself but also, if you are a horror fan, you need this movie in your collection.

Looks great in 4k. And Dolby atmos audio. Highly recommended.

This movie still holds up 50 years later. The 4K transfer was excellent! If you plan to own it at any point, this is definitely the way to go.

Exorcist 4k was a great buy, i loved the 4k format it looked great. Going to go great with our horror collection.

I have never owned a copy of this movie and I feel it was much more exciting when they announced this. Great picture and audio, worth the wait!

The transfer is absolutely beautiful and everything looks amazing in 4k. The sound is also perfect. This is the version to get if you’re a fan.

The picture and audio quality is top notch! People complain about the cover but I couldn’t care less when it’s sitting on my shelf. A must buy!
