As the summary says I love this movie. Having it on Blu-ray and the beautiful steel book is awesome. The Blu-ray video quality of the movie is really good, and the build an appearance of the steel book are really good as well. For anyone who loves “The Fifth Element”, I would highly recommend this. It was also a great price. Note: in my pictures, I put the insert behind the plastic cover, it did not come that way (Insert with UPC barcode.

One of my favorite movies of Bruce Willis . This is mastered professionally as it displays a very vivid picture. Played on my Sony bdp x800m2 and it displayed very closed to 4k as my player upscaled it to near 4k resolution . All in all its a really great movie , like watching it as a new realease movie because of how clear the cinematics are . If you are in the fence of buying it , go for it and you won’t have any regrets like me.

I really love the artwork they did on this cover and not to mention it's Blu Ray. I was torn between the 4k Blu Ray 5th Element DVD but i was on a tight budget and got this. I like the cover but was disappointed there was no artwork handbook inside or anything. I expected a steelbook have goodies. This is still a nice collection however. I grew up watching this film and i knew i had to have it. I am coming back for the 4k soon :D

The Fifth Element has always been on my top 10 list of awesome movies of all time. But every time The Fifth Element has been released on Blu-Ray it has never included a Digital Copy. And now it does included ultraviolet Digital Copy and this version has been remastered in Dolby ATMOS.

As I alluded to in my Blade Runner UHD review, I have owned this movie on many formats over the years. I really enjoy this movie and find it highly rewatchable, so I haven't minded re-buying it every 5 years or so... but I think that cycle may finally be at an end. This UHD disc is a PROPER release, definitive in terms of audio and video, pretty much at the limits of what the source material can provide... like having your very own lovingly-preserved 35mm print at home! I can't count how many times I've watched The Fifth Element, and yet I found myself spotting new little details I had never noticed before (e.g. the Diva isn't just blue, she's also SPARKLY - but don't look too close or you might see the seam where her latex headgear blends into her makeup/body paint). And as an added bonus, the steelbook packaging is super-cool, much better than the fairly lame cover art on past releases.
I'll try not to ramble too much about the movie itself... it really resonates with me, but may not be for everyone. It is kind of tough to categorize... futuristic sci-fi action comedy, I guess? Some may be put off by the humor, which is occasionally flat-out goofy... but for me it all just somehow works. There is some great dialogue, and the action and (most of) the effects are very solid. The story is archetypical "hero must prevent the end of the world" stuff, but the way it is presented manages to make it feel fresh. And the casting/performances are perfect. For me, the movie would be worth watching for any of Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm, or Chris Tucker's individual performances alone (not to mention the young and very lovely Milla Jovovich), but when you put them all together in one movie, it really becomes something special. Even the minor characters, played by folks like Brion James, Tricky, Tommy Lister, and Lee Evans all just feel perfectly cast.
In summary - this is a UHD release I would highly recommend.

A lot of differences over the blu ray, not sure if its better per say. you get a different look for sure. and the sound...This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.
