If you're a fan of these movies then chances are you're going to be a fan of this one too. Personally i don't think they did much difference from the previous films but seeing how it all started always is a welcoming addition.

If you liked the previous purge movies than this is for you, if you haven't seen them yet then you should probably catch up on those first and circle back to this one to understand all the implications of what happens!

I saw this in theaters and I liked it, but it’s an okay entry for the series. I’d rank it to be on par with the 2013 first movie, with “Anarchy” and “Election Year” being the best of the series, respectively.

Love the movie. Case is great as well. The only misleading thing is that my husband and me don't remember seeing the mask on case in the movie. Still over all a great addition to our collection.

The 1st Purge actually invoked fear. This one was really more like an action thriller (Even casting the drug lord hero to look like the Black Panther actor with comic book hero moves). I can see how the 2 connect but I just feel like the 1st one set the bar and the next 2 went more towards political corruption which is, I am sure, what the author was trying to do right from the beginning, but if the 1st one would have been more like the 2nd 2 in the trilogy I would have never continued just because I was pulled in by the scary "Strangers" type.

This movie was good but it was about what I expected. It helped fill in the gaps for how the whole concept started and solidified the conspiracy. Not to say too much; watch it and see.

I am glad that I purchased this movie right now have the complete collection and it was nice to find the last copy while I had an opportunity at the time I like going to Best Buy because everyone there is willing to assist you and make sure you have a good shopping experience.

This is the 4th movie in the series of The Purge. It continues with lots of crazy violence and blood. Not as good as the first 3 but still a good movie to watch.

Enjoyed the 1st & 3rd a little more. But you do not need to see the first movies to enjoy this one. If you enjoyed the other movies you should like this one.

I didn’t expect much out of this movie as the franchise seems to get worse with each installment. I actually enjoyed this more than all except the original.

It was a good movie but only for viewing maybe once or twice. Purchased at a discount price, but wouldn’t have at full retail.

This film depicts how the purge started and I have to say it’s quite enjoyable. Not the best writing but it’s simple and straight to the point !

I love the purge series. The characters are so incredibly powerful and intense. Make u wonder if this whole thing can be possible to happen.

Some movies get repetitive and unwatchable as their series goes on and on... this movie may be as good as the original. Really enjoyed it

This is another good movie that’s part of the purge series. Not as good as anarchy. It is very unpredictable so it keeps you interested.

Great movie, of course the mission of the Purge is to exterminate/eradicate those considered “economically deficient” or Black and Brown.

Great steelbook art. Not the best in the series but still a good time with friends. All the other installments got matching Steelbooks.

It was a well thought out Prequel and it fits right in with the Purge storyline and works to explain how things got started. It works.

A interesting origins of the Purge even though we had the gist it from the last two films. But it’s still entertaining none the less.
