I hesitated to purchase the Gene Autry Show. I was afraid it would be a cheap facsimile of the Gene Autry movies that I have enjoyed so much. I was pleasantly surprised that each 30 minute episode was a complete story in and of itself. No talking down to you except for the Wrigley's gum commercial at the beginning which you can fast forward thru. The action was fast and furious. Some episodes are better than others but as a whole, it was truly enjoyable for Gene Autry fans. The quality was excellent. Now that I have seen season one, I will not hesitate to purchase season 2.
