My husband and I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, so we have to buy every new album that comes out. Really there is only like 2 or 3 really good songs on this album. But if you love the Chili Peppers than you will enjoy all the songs anyways, and you must add it to your collection.

I thought this was neat when I bought this at the store. I've been using it for a coaster and has been working great. A friend came ove recently and told me that it was a new RHCP CD and I thought it was just a neat little contained with a new poster inside, but fantastic I should give it a listen.

She's a big RHCP fan so I scooped this up and oddly enough I like it more than she does. She's grown to like it but was hoping for the funkier side of the CP's rather than this somewhat mellow/darker side. I actually appreciate the cd more because of that different feel

TV looks great on the wall. Wall was much larger than we thought but TVTV looks great. Sound is awesome. Home has a lot of natural light however TV doesn't have a lot of glare. TV purchased: Samsung - 60" Class (60" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black - Model: UN60KU6300FXZA.

Excellent album from start to finish ,not a crunching rocker like Mothers milk or blood ,sugar .. More in that fullest of maturity of a band that knows what it is made of , more along the lines of Californication .. Really nicely layered sound .. One could say Lush .. Well worth the purchase..

This is 1 of the best overall releases by RHCP's in over a decade. The Getaway is great from start to finish. Includes the 1st single Dark Necessities which highlights Flea on bass. I think this will be full of hits like We Turn Red , the singer.s fav Go Robots as well as the title track.

Anyone who like "alternative" music will enjoy this. It's not hard rock or heavy metal, but it isn't weird oddball alternative either. Just good music, good sound, perfect blend of instruments and compelling lyrics that really get you into it. Highly recommended.

The only reason I did not give this album a five star is because of Californication. With that being said this album is a great new fresh sound from a great band. Loved it the first time I listened to it and like it even more ever time I listen to it again.

Man, Lifelong RHCP fan. And all i can say about this album from start to finish is wow They're back ! Sound better than ever. Reminded me of the sound we were getting 20 years ago. No filler every cut is a gem. Way to go guys ! See you on the road soon ! Keep rocking

The Chili Peppers change directions on The Getaway, smoothing out their sound and offering some great listening. New producer Danger Mouse has really put his stamp on this CD, and the new sound is fantastic. Softer sound, but the Chili Pepper magic remains. A great CD.

Don't come in expecting he return to funk or album flea mentioned that you can dance to, but this is much improved over "I'm with you" the more I spin it the more I find here that I enjoy. Aging peppers with some funk still left, even if subtle.

When I heard the first single released---I could not wait for the next song--then Go Robot came out---and I was hooked! Actual, physical CD's are hardly purchased anymore---but I had to have!! It is now in my car, and will be there for awhile!

Honestly, I've never been a big Peppers fan (more of a Zeppelin guy) but this disc surprised me with its smooth comfortable sound. Not what I expected. Very listenable and you can feel the Danger Mouse influence in positive ways.

Although still not as funky and rocking as I would like (pre-99 Peppers), this is a solid record. My favorite tracks are the self-titled opening song and the closer, Dreams of a Samurai. Worthy addition to their catalogue.

I did not like this album upon first listening to it. But after playing it several times this album really grew on me and I now rank it as one of their best albums.While not as hard as past albums, it has a real good groove and flow to it.

I pick this up because I was a fan of the band and danger mouse. I thought the combination of both red hot chili peppers and danger mouse was a interesting choice.

This album just gets better every time I hear it. If you're on the fence after only one listen, listen to it again! It's not their best album of course, but it's a solid addition to their extensive musical catalog.

I found the new red hot chili peppers albumn to be phenominal. They have changed up the recipe with Danger Mouse as producer but the songs are still great!! I have it in heavy rotation of albumns i'm currently listening too.

This is an easy moving CD as compared to what I thought it would have been! For some reason I thought it would have been more hard-rock than it is! Glad I purchased it .

A good CD. Has a couple songs that show potential of Josh's ability to replace the missing soul of Frusciante. You have to realize its a different band and they have an almost adult contemporary sound now. Still a good CD.
