Surprise breath of fresh air with the staple chili peppers vibe, but a new sound! You have to hear Go Robot! Plus love how Josh Klinghoffer finally gets to shine and out of Fruaciantes shadow. Best album of the year.

I prefer the extra protection provided by jewel cases for CDs. These are studier built and the material they are made from is flexible and yet they are less likely to break than the boxes they came in.

I've been a Chili Peppers fan my whole life and have stuck with them through all of their phases. This album is awesome! I'm happy with the direction they took with a producer other than Rick Ruben.

I've been a longtime fan of RHCP, and heard their music evolve. They still have some funk undertones over more mellow music. There are enough great songs on here to make it worth a purchase!

Best album by them since at least By the Way, if not Californication. Danger Mouse production and Nigel on the mixer made for a much more interesting album than they have had in years.....

I haven't bought a new Chili Peppers album in years but really liked the track Dark Necessities so figured I'd give this one a try. Glad I did as I really, really like this new CD.

... not having John Frusciante's guitar work is definitely noticeable. Not any songs that you'll fall in love with on this album, but they are mostly good ... just not great.

This new Red Hot Chili Peppers albun sports a new producer, and there is definitely a different sound, along with some old Chili Peppers sounds. If you are a Peppers fan, you'll like this album.

What a fantastic cd. If you love the RHCP's you will LOVE this cd. Buy it don't hesitate. It's work it, trust me. This cd is the best out there so far this year. I'm guess at least 3 Grammy's!!!

Can't say I love every song on the album yet, but for me that usually changes once I get a chance to listen to the whole album through a few times. Glad that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are back!

If you like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers you will like this album. It has three awesome tracks on it and the rest of the tracks are excellent as well. From start to finish it is a good album.

I have listened to this a few times already and it is a good CHILI PEPPER cd , but not great. One or two songs sound really good, but they sound their old music copied over.

I really didn't expect it to be this good, after the last album I thought only a few songs would ok and the rest would be fillers. But I totally recommend this to any rock fan very solid album

The chili peppers always have unique albums especially the older they get. This one is more mellow with less rock your face off songs. Kind of like Stadium Arcadium minus all the upbeat songs.

Very different album from the RHCP, however, most excellent - one of their best. Has different, smoother vibe while maintaining the varying beats and rhythms of a Peppers album. A must buy!!!

after " I'm With You " this is a Great follow up and a continuing proggretion of the RHCP sound !!! with a New Producer they have made yet another fine CD!!! Enjoying it to the fullest!!!

I am a big fan of the Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar S** Magic era of the RHCPs. Back then there was energy and lots of funk. Now they seem stuck in middle-age, mid-tempo songs that completely lack the energy of earlier releases. It's not that the songs are bad. It's just that there isn't any energy behind them. Even on the funkier songs, the drive isn't there. This CD will be put on the shelf with their last few discs and I will continue to play the older, energetic, funky discs that I still love.

This album has a more laid back style to it but the album is very well written. Flea tears it up on bass as usual. A must have for any Chili Peppers fans out there.
