Girl with all the gifts

Different is not always better...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I checked out this film because I heard that it was a new twist on what has become a well-worn genre. The beginning of the film is really good: in fact, it would have been nice to have see it without even knowing it was a zombie film. However, IMO, second act drags; then it turns into a cheesy episode of the original Star Trek. Filmmakers chose "different" just for the sake of being different. However, if you REALLY like zombie films, you might like it just to see a twist on the genre.
