I bought this collection set to have all three as a great set in the amazing steelbook.. would have been 5 stars EXCEPT FOR, THE LIVE VERSION.. WHEN YOU PLAY IT, MINE IS OFF SYNC. THE WORDS DO NOT MATCH THE MOUTHS. THE OTHER MOVIES PLAY FINE. BUT THIS ONE DOES NOT. I HAVE TRIED IN MY OTHER PLAYERS ALSO. SAME ISSUE. Not sure if it is just my set or all defective. Otherwise a great set.

My negative review is for the packaging, not the movie. I paid for shipping but ended up going to the store anyways because the steelbook was damaged. The whole purpose of a steelbook to to collect them. Best Buy should realize this and package them more securely

When I saw that Grease was being re-released on blu-ray for it's 40th(!) anniversary it was a no brainer of a buy for me, but after seeing that they were releasing it with Grease 2 (one of my all time favorite guilty pleasures [unfortunately with no bonus features in sight]) I had to run out and get it the day of release. After watching them both I have to say that Grease and Grease 2 have never looked or sounded better. Grease, especially with the original sound mix tears off the screen. If there's one that you want, it's this one!

I guess it goes without saying that Grease is considered to be one of the greatest musicals ever. However, I feel that Grease 2 is unfairly maligned. The songs aren’t as good, but Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caufield are better actors than Newton-John and Travolta IMO. I haven’t seen the live Grease musical, so I’m looking forward to seeing it for the first time when I receive the Steelbook. Also, the Grease (1978) blu will be the new 40th anniversary edition.
