I bought the movie hoping to get a digital copy. Just received the Blu-Ray.

this is a classic story and movie remains true to it, as I can remember it any way. Cast all does a good job. Blu ray disc would not play on my Panasonic 210 player. Took it to back to Best Buy and would not play on their newer Panasonic model but would play (and looked great) on other brands of blu ray player. Tried a different blu ray disc and did the same thing.

This film shot in native 3D was so many things: modern but a compelling homage to a bygone era. The music though contemporary and urban blended right in; the camera, the choice of well thought out immersive 3D, sumptuous color and fabulous acting cries out to be added to any serious 3D collector. A not miss. Loved it in the the cinema and even more at home.

Always loves the book and original film, upon seeing this in theaters I knew I had to own it on dvd as well. Got this for a steal! Great movie, great everything - except for the packaging (on the inside). It was not the kind I expected, the disc is kind of 'floating' and flaps around and it really irks me! Aside from that I would def recommend the movie to anyone who enjoys Leo's acting or enjoyed the book/original movie. The music is great as well :)

This is very much Baz Luhrmann's film. I have a feeling that the studio were expecting something along the lines of Australia and he has given them something more along the stylistic lines of his earlier Moulin Rouge. People looking for a traditional adaptation of Gatsby are not going to be happy. I, on the other hand, am. The blu-ray presentation is excellent.

This was the first adaptation of the story I've watched. I've seen this in theaters in 3D originally, and was blown away by the style of the movie. Watching the 4K version was a pleasure because of the uptick in detail and sharpness and color, this is a beautiful transfer and a great movie.

Pretty accurate adaptation of the classic book. I would have liked to see a rated r version where the excess and debauchery were on full display. However the pg-13 version means the kids in high school actually reading the book can see the movie as well. The movie is shot beautifully and Leo is at his best. Recommended.

I was blown away by the cinematography in this movie. Everything looked amazing, and the performance by DiCaprio was perfect. The movie follows the book well, and I would highly recommend watching this movie. Even if you don't like the plot, the visuals will keep you captivated.

I loved this book when I first picked it up in high school, and this movie is an excellent modern take on the story. Great acting! The team that brought this to the screen did a phenomenal job squeezing this film into the time constraints.

This movie is great. Goes right along with the old Great Gatsby but is more upbeat then the old movie. Narrator does a great job and the colors in it are excellent!

I have read the book and seen the movie, and I love both of them. Each adaptation has its differences, but I would say that this movie does good for the book, and the acting is on point.

The movie really took me by surprise. I really enjoyed the film more than expected. As for the 3d elements, there pretty to look at and are present from the start. Really liked the end result.

This is a nice remake of the original with the added energy of the new filming technology and effects. Acting is above par and makes it an enjoyable evening at the movies.

This a well acted movie and Leo and Toby bring out an amazing chemistry. The movie does drag a bit, but overall a value for money if you get a good deal.

This movie is set in the 1920's I believe but it is very well made so that it is timeless. The acting is very good. Gotta love Leo in this movie.

This film is really nice to watch as the production design is truly amazing and lush with colors and details. Really shines on blu ray.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this Blu-ray on our large LED TV in our family room with the audio coming from our home theatre system.

This movie was a gift to our nephew. He really enjoyed it and we liked watching it having had the experience of having seen the original.

With a modern feel and modern music, The Great Gatsby is highly entertaining. Leonardo DiCaprio is at his best, and it's a good time.

Great Movie! Lots of twists and turns in plot! Never read the book, but after watching the movie, now I want to read it!
