If you liked Baz Luhrmann's Red Curtain trilogy (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge) you will enjoy this movie. The movie has the same beautiful look of his previous work.

I was disappointed in this movie and did not like it as well as I thought I would. Kinda sorry I bought it because I don't see myself watching it again. Very slow and drawn out.

The item is not as described! I normally don't write reviews, but i had to warn people for those who think this will include the digital copy. It says includes the digital copy, however it did not include it. The only reason I got it because it said the digital copy was included. It was the blu-ray and DVD only in the box. I was told by a customer service rep that I can return it in store, but when i went to return it, the store would not allow it. I had to fight to be able to return it and get a refund with customer service after calling a 2nd time.

I ordered this online Thanksgiving but instead of receiving the blu-ray, dvd 2 pack I received the blu-ray single disc version. Trying to exchange that for the correct item as was advertised has been such a nightmare that I have just purchased the combo pack from the store and given the blu-ray to someone else. I was not allowed to exchange or return at the store and trying to get customer service to understand what had happened on the phone wasted hours of my life. I have purchased 3 computers and a HDTV from Best Buy in the past month and they just lost my business over a DVD.

Disappointed with the hype. Although some good elements reminiscent of that period; performances and plot editing missing something.
