Not what I was expecting but it was visually nice and the music fit well. Left a log of things unanswered but, it was never supposed to be a typical Authurian legend telling I’d the green knight and Sir Gawain. Good for a one watch deal.

This one was kind of a stinker in my opinion. I had high hopes based on the trailer but I should've known it was going to be a typical A24 slow burner, which is exactly what it was. The trailer for the movie was very deceiving as to what the movie actually panned out to be. Still an overall good story and visually it was very well done but the pacing of the trailer had me expecting something that this never panned out to be. Glad I watched it but I definitely don't see myself revisiting this one every year.

Not sure about all the great hype around this movie. I thought the movie was good, but not great. The journey is thought provoking but had moments more could have been added to make a more enjoyable movie.

A24 has been killing it these last few years. Nearly every film I've seen that they've put out has been a gem, and this one is no exception. Interesting story, great visuals. I'll be watching again.

4K transfer is beautiful and pristine. The movie itself is poetic and though slightly slow and/or confusing at times, the allegorical nature of it makes for a unique experience well worth undertaking. Not for everyone though but those who do decide to take the journey will be perplexed, will be forced to think, and hopefully entertained as well.

Not quite as good as some of the other recent a24 films (Hereditary, Midsommar, Witch, Lighthouse, etc) but this one is still pretty good. Good performances and cool settings for a period piece.

I was surpised that I liked this better than I thought I would. Amazing cinematography and great performances from a top notch cast makes this a winner. The special features are fun to watch .

This movie is based on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight which is a late 14th Middle English chivalric romance written by an unknown author. Director David Lowery made this beautiful movie laced with pure imagination and symbolism. The picture and audio qualities are excellent. Highly recommended to have for your video library.

Will definitely need to see this more than once to fully grasp the meaning of the film. It is a gorgeous film with great performances all around.

A fantasy adventure based around the knights of the round table. It's a but strange and weird at times but overall an enjoyable movie.

i was not familiar with this director,but heard such mixed reviews i had to take a chance. Not Terry Gilliam,but Lowery's take on Camelot will leave you thinking,re-watching and just getting swept up in 1000% altternate reality,,,in the best way. 4K is big upgrade from BR...and sounds!--sit back and enjoy!

I typically enjoy A24 movies as they generally deviate from the standard film experience. This was no exception. I'm not a videophile but the 4k looked really good to me.

Interesting A24 movie with nice visuals. The story is an epic Arthurian fantasy about Arthur’s nephew who sets out to prove himself.

I had no expectation watching this movie so I was pleasantly surprised that this is a well done and well executed movie with a different take of the author Therion legend.

This movie had awesome reviews but I just couldn't handle the pace of the movie. The second time around was more enjoyable. I the video and audio was on point.

Over all, this is a good movie but it is slow. If you're expecting an action packed adventure, this is not your movie.

An amazing looking film in 4k with amazing scenery and colors. Though the story does get skow at a point this is a great addition to the medieval fanatasy genre

Very intriguing tale of Sir Gawain and his quest to become a knight in King Arthur's court. Being the nephew of the King of the land affords one a certain lifestyle. But Gawain is looking to be more and when the Green Knight wants to 'play a game', Gawain volunteers. Excellent cast and story, this is a creative and unique look at a classic story.

I loved the movie on the big screen, but this version gives you so much more detail and better sound. There are a few things in some scenes that were EASILY overlooked and overheard in the theatre version. Rewatching it on my tv made me appreciate and actually understand the movie a lot more. I recommend it.

I understand how this can be a divisive movie, and I would not recommend if you have a short attention span. The movie is ruminative and leisurely paced. But it's also beautiful, unique, and 100% worth seeing. Dev Patel continues to stun in just about every project he does.
