This is another BBC reference title to have for anyone with a 4k TV to show off the video/audio capabilities of a system. Two of the discs in this set are 4k ones and the other two are regular bluray so those without a 4k TV or 4k bluray player can still watch the main and special features on a non-4k system. I got a slip cover with my purchase but not sure if that's guaranteed with every purchase.

I loved blue planet so I had to pick this up. I was interested in the earths plant life so picking this up was a no brainer!

The 4k in this is beautiful. I played it in the background as i read a book and occasionally i couldnt help looking up and watching it. Its gorgeously filmed and very interesting with some of these crazy plants they show you in this one. Im not super into documentaries but i definitely want to own all of these ones. If i had any negative it would be that the commentary is quiet compared to the music which is kind of annoying cause if you want to hear attenborough talk you gotta turn it up, but then the music gets all cinimatic and blares really loud and kind of ruins it at times. But thats why i use subtitles anyways. But this is an issue in his other series. Im surprised this hasnt been fixed or complained about by other people. I dont think its just me.. Regardless this is well worth 25$ and i would recommend you get it just in case it ever goes back up in price (50$, which i doubt it will but who knows)

Mind blown! I have watched all of the BBC nature documentaries, including in 4K, for the past several years. It's incredible seeing how the documentarians top their previous works. The lengths they go through to get the shots amaze me. In this documentary they also use a new camera rig to take time-lapse video of the plants. That might not sound so innovative, but what if I told you that you get time-lapse with moving camera angles? It truly has to be seen. Plus, the plants they feature and how they feature them is simply amazing. I sat on this purchase for a while before watching. I knew it would be good, but I like seeing the animals and wasn't so sure how much I would enjoy the focus on plants. This is absolutely one of my favorites. The 4K and Dolby Atmos audio here are stellar. A reference disc. Buy it! Support this release and others like it. More please!

The writers and producers finally seemed to have learned that we don't want to hear them preach about their political preferences! This one actually focuses on supposed subject of the documentary - nature. This one is a little more boring than the ones about animals, but it is still fascinating to learn about nature with this one.

Loved this nature documentary. David Attenborough fans will not be disappointed. This documentary lets you learn about plants in ways you never would have thought of them. An absolute must see

I don't have too much to say, it's a wonderful documentary and the HDR implementation is stunning on my LG C1. This is a fantastic Blu-ray to show off your new TV with.

This is a great documentary but I would definitely wait to catch it on a sale if possible.

Have watched a few of the shows in this series. We previously had Blue Planet on HD red disc before BD took over and recently took the plunge to 4k so one of the first discs we got was this and Blue Planet II. Absolutely stunning in 4k and a must watch!

I really wish there were more 4K productions like the Green Planet. The camera angles and clear videos with spectacular colors makes this one of my favorite 4K video titles. Also liked the emphasis throughout the filming on how important it is to take care of our planet.

My purchase, from Best Buy, of The Green Planet [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] is one of Best recent purchases I have made. It’s a Breathtaking movie with incredible cinematography along with a dramatic soundtrack and It’s in 4K and Dolby Atmos. Love this movie!

One of the newest David Attenborough documentaries is one of my new favorites partly because it has some of the newest cinematography, but because it adds ridiculous drama filled narratives and sound effects to the lives of plants just like they do for animals.

This series offers Astounding footage of plant life from around the world. Amazing discoveries with each episode and also reminders of how extraordinary and delicate this planet is. David Attenborough at his best! A definite masterpiece.

Breathtakingly beautiful. Incredible photography, and a narrative that is both informative and wondrous. These BBC documentaries narrated by Richard Attenborough are incredible and so technically well made. Each one is like going on a fantastic journey.
