I had read a couple of reviews about the film, before purchasing it. This film is not the greatest, but it is entertaining. My friends and I kept guessing what was going on up to the last 30 minutes. It is well acted with Michael Shannon (as always doing great work) and Samantha Morton playing a very hate-able character. Quality of the Blu-ray was fine. No complaints, other than, I wanted more.

Mom keeps her sick son as a shut in and pretty much dominates his life. Things get a little hopeful when a girl comes to visit but soon Mom goes nuts. Nice suspense and a great twist at the end makes this a must see by the director of Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer.

Went into this with fairly low expectations, but wow, what a well done suspense film! Basically the plot not unlike Misery but there is one very unusual twist that I never saw coming. Very worthwhile!

A creepy and dark horror film about a boy that is forbideen to speak with the girl next door due to the parents been mentally sickos. Perfect for halloween time

This is a nice creepy drama about a sick kid with an overprotective mom. Great performances by the young actors makes for a movie worth checking out.

This movie is really good. I don't want to say much and give anything away. It starts off pretty low key but gets super tense and when you eventually get the whole story it's pretty nuts.

Can't believe I snagged this gem for only 9.99 from the store. From the same director that did Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer. Definitely check this one out. Highly recommended!

You may think this is one of those rubber stamp thrillers but believe me, you will be held fast to the plot and the acting is top notch!!

I am a Scream Factory junkie so when I seen this for $9.99 I had to check it out! This one of the better films from this batch of Independent/IFC movies that were released on the same day.
