Missed this in theater, binge watched it, LOVED it.

I've been looking to get the complete set for the extended version. Using a $10 certificate, this was the best price anywhere. Also, I knew if there were any issues, Best Buy would stand by the item. The covers are not exactly like the LOTR set. They have a paper photo inset on each box, rather than solid cardboard. Not bad, just different. The extras are interesting to watch. I am very pleased with this item.

I bought the extended box set of The Lord of the Rings for my husband when it came out, and we waited to buy any of the The Hobbit DVD's until they were released in extended edition like this set. He's super excited to have them all, and the price is great. You cant go wrong here, you get like 15 discs with this set and there is SO much footage to see!

no brainer purchase for any fan of the lord of rings. just like in the lord in the rings extended editiion, the hobbit extended edition comes in a a beautiful case with the discs. as expected, it is chock full of extras on each movie. from the commentary tracks to the appendicies, there are hours and hours worth of extras. unfortunately best buy only had the DVD version in stock at the time. impulse buy. Went and ordered the blu ray set on Amazon that night and bing watched for 2 days.

I've loved The Hobbit since the book and I watched the trilogy in theatres. I'm excited to have these movies with the extended version to keep at home. Goes well with my extended versions of the LOTR triology.

I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my son. He has watched it several times but still hasn't had time to watch all the bonus footage. It is great for him to get a behind the scenes look at one of his favorite movies.

As good as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Special effects were very good. I have read the book again.

This definitely a most for a Hobbit fan all the three movie extended version in one box and a lots of features.
