This matches up nicely with the LOTR box set
This matches up nicely with the Lord of the Rings extended edition box set. Its a nice way to have all of the movies and extras together in one place.

Great trilogy
I was so excited to find all 3 Extended Edition Hobbit movies as a set.

Improvement to story
I felt that these extended versions filled out the story a lot more than I expected. As with most re-cuts, there was still some fluff like LotR had, but it seemed that there were more key scenes and story driving enhancements by comparison to the LotR extended cuts. I like those also, but I felt these (hobbit extended) had more value to watch over the original hobbit cuts.
