While the movies can be a little slow, I love the steelbook set itself. Also have to knock it slightly because the tin shell had a dent in it.

Amazing, 4k really did a wonder on the series. It's a lot better than the original releases. The imagery blends in more and it feels like it fits.

The set was on sale so it was hard not to take advantage of the price. The steelbook case came with a little dent in the corner.

Picked up from the store in great condition. Small spine slash on one of the movies but it doesnt matter to me

The extended versions are the way to go. Much better flow to the story compared to the theatrical versions. 4k transfer looks amazing

Actually enjoying these movies MORE in 24 fps than I did in theaters at 48 fps. Shame they were split into three still but more enjoyable now.

The movies themselves are bloated and overly-long, but there are some fantastic visuals and great casting decisions. They look amazing in 4K and I'm happy to own them.

The Hobbit in 4K - truly amazing! I thought the Lord of The Rings trilogy was better made than the Hobbit but still immensely enjoyable.

These steelbooks of the Hobbits are matte and nicely stored my only issue is that I would like if they but in more details on the outside

This release is amazing. I’m taking one star off though because my set arrived with a dent in the outer case and Best Buy can’t replace because it’s sold out.

Got lucky, no dings or dents on the outer box or any of the steelbooks. Excellent quality in video and sound. Great collector’s item!

Great looking steel books so yeah I upgraded to 4K Peter Jackson kicks some butt with the Hobbit & Lord of the Rings

For the ultimate collector and fan. This is an amazing set and looks phenomenal. 4k looks beautiful and makes moist.

Watched these movies on normal HD quality and wanted to enjoy it on 4K. So I purchased it, also great set of movies to own.

Arrived on time and all of the Steelbooks are in perfect shape. Love the box they came in too. Cool collectors item.
