A bit outdated and bare bones, but it is in 1080 so can’t complain.

DVD was scratched and wouldn’t play with 30 minutes left. Very disappointed.

Such a cute movie. My family loves to watch this as an annual thing every holiday season. We probably watch 3-5 times in November and December. A great seasonal family friendly film.

I watched this movie by myself late one night while my husband slept and I fell in love with it. I told my husband to watch it with me the next day and he loved it as well. I can not get enough of this movie. I watch it everytime it is on T.V. and I am looking for it in stores, but it is always sold out. :( So I will just keep looking. I hope a lot of romantic comedy avoiders will at least try it because this movie surprised me and my husband the skeptic and I believe it will surprise you too. Best movie in a long time. :)

I rented this not really knowing what to expect, but less than 48 hours after watching it - I now own it. The story line is fairly unique in this day and age, especially when you have seen almost every angle in a "love story". All the characters were very warm, even Jack Black, who you would expect to be his typically crazy self. This movie surprised me and has become a household favorite. I especially recommend this movie for anyone that is a true movie fan and movie music fan. Don't miss it!

The screenplay for this movie is wonderful and these four actors and actresses bring it to life wonderfully! I would have never imagined the combination of Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Cameron Diaz, and Jude Law coming together to make a great movie, but I am so glad they were cast for these roles. They were perfect! I really loved the story and the twists and turns of the movie were great! I reccommend it to anyone. It will make men and women laugh!

Some may consider this a "chick-flick", but it really is a lighthearted look at not giving up on romance. The story is enhanced by the talents of Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and Jack Black. It is wonderful how a "change of scenery" can open up new thoughts about ones self and others. How nice to see Eli Wallach make an appearance in this movie. In this movie people really do matter.

I think that "The Holiday" was one of the greatest classic romance/relationships films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "The Holiday" has a lot of entertaining and enjoyable humor and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

This movie takes place in the home of an L.A. film trailer owner and the home of an English journalist. Needless to say both women are unsuccessful with relationships and need a change of pace. By switching houses they find who they are and whats really important in life. Great story. Perfect to watch anytime of the year, not just the holidays!

Very cute Movie, wish it would have lasted just a little longer. Great Movie. Maybe a seen that I would not let my girls watch. Saw it on TV, Loved it had too buy it. PS Excuse the Frustratedddddd notation above, that was for something else a different issue.
