This speaker took some getting used but after some time it grew on me...it also grew to be quite a pain. First off, it looks gorgeous. The denim cloth design with the wood front was a brilliant design choice for those who make their decision based on looks. The sound is great despite the lack of sub bass with its passive radiator at the back. There's enough lows and low mids to make anything sound punchy and have body though. Also....this thing gets LOUD. The highs are crispy but smooth as satin. This speaker has dedicated tweaters which helps mid-range definition and sparkly high-end that doesn't sound shrill (a problem with most speakers this size). Now let's get to the bad stuff... The voice prompt can NOT be turned off or turned down. Turn this thing on, or charge it at your own risk. Anyone within a 10 mile distance will hear this speak announce its every move and there's nothing you can do about it. You CAN get around it announcing that it is turning off with a bit of a button cheat code so there's that. Another thing is the USB charging port. If you look around the internet you'll see a common theme in that it breaks pretty easily, leaving you to either tape a cable in just the right position or force you to open the speaker up entirely and solder a cable on yourself...just know that you'll void any warranty. I mentioned the bass being good, but for some it'll sound way too muddy/boxy. I'd attribute that to the wood and build material. It sounds like there are some resonances in the low-mids that tend to build up too much with some music. Whatever codec they're using to decode audio over bluetooth needs work. Everything over bluetooth has this digitised artifact that just sounds hideous. If you have a 3.5mm cable to plug into the back, use that instead...avoid sending music to this via bluetooth. There is also a noticeable noise gate that chops audio. If you're looking for a speaker to play at low-level avoid this at all costs. I don't understand why such a thing would be built into a bluetooth speaker but here we are. Other than that, its great...pair it with a sub and it be perfect.

Normally this speaker is $149.99, however I was able to catch it on clearance for $60.99. The reviews I read seemed to be back and forth on the sound quality. I decided that, at the price, it was hard to pass up. The physical design of the speaker is very sleek, and it feels decently heavy to carry. When I tested the audio, I was pleasantly blown away. Half turned up, I was able to clearly hear my music from 30+ feet away. When using Bluetooth, I do notice a bit of a grainy interference, which is to be expected. When plugged in directly, the audio is clear and smooth. For $60, this was an absolute steal. Even for $150, I’d still be satisfied, but the clearance price made this speaker so worth it. The bass is really nice too. Worth the purchase.

I like the Marley wooden earphones, so thought to give this a try. It sounds great and is pretty heavy. Seems like solid construction. Good highs and bass which is difficult to find. Looks super also with quality wood. Got it on a daily special for $100.

We purchased this speaker for the portability of it and while it's a little larger than I was expecting, it's still easy enough to carry where we need it. It has amazing sound and base without distortion. I should have checked to make sure it was waterproof before buying, but we still take it out in the boat if it's not looking rainy. Love the look of it too!

Impressed with the sound from this small speaker. Really well built and for us, the best looking speaker with real wood construction, nice finish on the front piece and cloth wrapped for the rest of the cabinet. Easy hookup and holds a charge as the directions state.

This House of Marley speaker is great. My TV doesn’t have the best sound and speakers, so this has provided a dramatic improvement. It will shut itself off shortly after the TV turns off, or it can be shut off manually. There’s a red charging and low battery indicator light. Charges quickly for hours of use. Wonderful sound. I love it and highly recommend it.

I like the look of this portable speaker with the bamboo on the front and back. It puts out a good crisp sound. And the 10 hour charged battery is also a plus.

Quality build, great bass. Overwhelms lyrics. Love the wood finish. No adjustments possible on device, must rely on source. charges fast.

This Marley bluetooth speaker sound amazing and looks great! I take it outdoors for family bar-b-q’s, washing my truck and park picnics! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high fidelity Bluetooth speaker that looks great too!

it looked good and it was an impulse buy at 70$ not a cheap at that! Sound Quality is clear and with the right proximity the a wall you'll get outstanding bass response. its not a Bose but it will do!

Big sound for a small speaker. I have a lot of Bluetooth speakers this is one of my favorite. Great sound, loud as it needs to be, and looks good too.

This speaker is very nice, considering how much it costs! My son loves that it announces when it is turned on and connected with Bluetooth. He thinks that’s funny! It is well worth the money!!
