GREAT EXCELLENT FILM JADEN SMITH & JACKIE CHAN 5 STARS

I liked the Original Karate Kid films from the 1980s, but this film works too, even though the kid is much younger- I think he should have been a little older, but as for technical quality- Mastered in 4K is the best to go for those who have existing BD players and not 4K UHD BD players. The picture and brightness for these films are pristine and the DTS HDMA 5.1 audio is crispy, pure digital clarity! I only wish it were 7.1 Dolby TrueHD.

Bought this as a gift for someone to complete their Karate Kid collection. But I saw this movie and it was okay. The fight scenes (especially with Jackie Chan) are good, but story is not believable that this kid could learn martial arts very quickly to compete against the other kid who looks like he's been doing it for several years.

I have played my dvd of The Karate Kid so much I thought it might go bad on me. So I purchased this Blu-Ray disc. The 'extras' are well worth the price plus this disc comes with an alternate ending--great idea! Even if you have the dvd, this Blu-Ray is well worth the extra money.

An amazing remake.....is really good!!! I love the actors and the entire good story!!! People should buy this master piece immediately!!!!!!!!

Jackie Chan is great in this movie with Will smith son . Story is good

This version of the story was a good update and was exciting to watch. I love the camera play and the extras like the snake connection to the ending karate move. I thought it was funny and enlightening,

I am enjoying watching Karate Kid with my family. We all give this movie a thumbs up!

It's pretty good and highly recommended if you are into that sort of thing!

I love the remake of the old classic, Mr. Smith did a great job acting in the movie, and although it was a remake, it was different. Loved it.

The selection made by my son (even though he already has the DVD) he was intrigued by the graphics.

Jackie Chan fills the role well as Mr. Miyagi. And young Jaden Smith karate kicks tail in his role too. Great movie!

Taking this remake to china with the casting of jaden smith and jacky chan made the movie a different experience from the original karate kid.

Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith shine in this great remake of the karate trilogy.

Love this version of the karate kid, bringing it closer to this time!
