    The movie is definitely dated in terms of visual aesthetics and pacing but plot-wise, it's still pretty gripping and the payoff is well worth it.

    Very scary in an understated and fantastic performance by De Niro. Maybe Jerry Lewis's best film performance: certainly his best in a serious role. Fantastic script.

    I love Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and of course, Jerry Lewis! The directing, acting, story and overall vibe of this movie is superb! A plus!

    This film, in my opinion, is worth seeing just to see Robert Di Niro in a very different role. All in all it was very entertaining.

    It's Martin scorsese's only time he directed The Comedy and Jerry Lewis is really good in it and so is robert deniro.

    Can a movie with Deniro and Scorsese ever be bad? Answer is no. Really enjoyed this lesser recognized masterpiece.

    This was truly a big change coming after his Oscar winning Raging Bull. A transition from tough guy to a geek who thinks he is funny and attempting to be tnext king of comedy.
