I purchased this movie for my grandson. He loves dinosaurs and has watched this movie over amd over. Best Buy has been a great place to pick up many great movies for our family.

I received my dvd early. This time the dvd box was not broken, and it had been wrapped better.

I had this in video format when my daughter was young. I remembered loving it then, but have really loved it with my two granddaughters--ages 2 & 4. They are very different personalities and the more socially aware & emotionally mature granddaughter (the 2 yr old) comes into my house asking for "dinosaurs" all the time. She'll ask to view it twice with no problem, glued to the story. The 4 yr old who is not skilled at emotional self-regulation says it's "too scary" and "sad." I remind her that real-life is often scary and sad and we need to learn how to deal with these emotions. She'll agree and keep watching. I always sit with the girls while watching, usually with them in my lap or right next to me, and make observations about how the different dinosaurs respond to different situations. I was thrilled to recently find the cartoon show "Land Before TIme" on TV, so we watch that together and discuss the story whenever they're here during its show time. This has been a wonderful teaching tool, with active adult support and conversation. I really look for stories which entertain and educate. Social-emotional education is so important to start teaching at a young age. Seeing the differences between my two granddaughters is a real eye-opener. We'll be watching Land Before Time for awhile.

Loved this movie growing up, excited to show it to my toddler. I guess time has dulled my memory of how sad and scary it can be...

This was my brother's 1st movie he ever watched in a theater when he was young.

Just as I remembered it. Great price and delivered to my door the same week.

The Land Before Time; now here's a classic tale you shouldn't pass up. I fondly remember this one when it first released on VHS in 1989, now updated in beautiful high-def widescreen. It looked great then and looks even better now. If you're a collector, definitely pick this up. As for the film itself - Its good as any Disney film, despite not being one with a superb, classic animation style. Highly recommend it for your kids as well despite the heartbreaking moments. A heart-warming tale with cute dinosaurs, while shockingly depicting the harsh reality of all life. Tragedy definitely plays a big theme in this film in coming to understand loss, but also provides a message to never give up. "Never Tell Me The Odds." - Littlefoot, Dinosaur Smuggler

Beautifully remastered to bluray, I forgot how much I genuinely LOVED this movie. Perfect for kids.

The land before time movies are the best. I'm keeping my eye out for the rest of the movies.

He's a dinosaur nut, like most 3 year olds. So he really enjoys these movies.

There is not much to be said about Land Before Time that hasn't already been said. I grew up on this movie and have probably watched it over 20 times in my lifetime. My kids can attest to this, as it is one of my favorite movies to quote when talking to them! so, for them to finally be able to see what i've been talking about for the last few years is truly awesome! the transfer of the film is good, and the soundtrack comes over very well too. i am giving this a five star rating purely based on nostalgia as well as the looks on my kids' faces as we watched together and the joy that was present as Sarah says "3 horns don't play with longnecks!" Thank you for letting me be a kid again and share lasting memories with my own kids!

Classic Movie with wonderful characters. Highly entertaining!

Don Bluth made some great movies. The teams behind American Tale and N.I.M.H. and the Land Before Time were solid. This one is the most memorable and the most complete of the series. Still holds up all these years. My kids enjoy every Bluth film we own. Most of the good ones he animated were all known for two simple things: A movie for all ages to enjoy and a stories with heart. No dumb pop-culture references that immediately make the movie feel dated. Just good characters and cute animation and fun stories.

A landmark film that introduced many a child to the artist might of Don Bluth, Land Before Time is great for all ages, full of adventure and even drama that'll undoubtedly move the hearts of its audience. Solid animation and exceptional voice-acting bring the young group of unlikely dinosaur friends to life, setting up for a memorable cast that have been household names for nearly 30 years.

How can you not love this movie? I remember watching this when I was 9 now my daughter at 17 was the driving force behind purchasing a copy for the house. She wanted to show it to her younger sister and cousins. Perfect for family movie night...even if you've already seen it.

We bought my wife an iPhone 7 plus and the microphone would not work a lot of the time so we exchanged it for another of the same. We had the same problem with that one so we went back and Brendon updated the OS and the problem went away after a while. Now it seems to work properly so not to take chances we bought the Apple service for two years.

This movie has a great story. I love that it points out that not all kids are raised in a two parent home. Some are raised by only dad's, some by a grandparent, and some in a traditional home. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that the child is loved and cared for. It shows how in adverse situations we can depend on each other.

This dvd is perfect for the nostalgic fan. While you're not going to get blu ray quality for any dvd, this movie quality is certainly better than the old VHS tape you might have around the house. The price was also perfect- the the cost of a cup of coffee, you can re-live a true classic.

I was very happy to hear this animated classic was being released on blu-ray and picked it up on day one. It looks great on blu-ray and the story is still enjoyable even almost thirty years after it was first released. I would recommend this film to everyone of all ages.

My daughter loved this movie when it first came out and we spent countless hours watching it together as a family. Purchasing the DVD brought back many great memories and what a fantastic family movie it still is today. watch it as a family and make your own memories!
