The Last Duel was a really good film that didn't deserve to be labeled a box office bomb when it was released. In the mold of his other epic films such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven, Ridley Scott has crafted another masterpiece with this film. Jodie Comer really blew me away with her performance in this, and her male co-stars in Matt Damon, Adam Driver, and Ben Affleck were no slouch either, but the film definitely belongs to Jodie Comer, hands down. Excellent picture and sound quality on the 4K UHD blu-ray. I highly recommend this.

We watched the Last Duel at home last night. We were drawn to the movie more due to the cast than knowing everything about the movie. This movie went down a path that blew us away. If you are a person interested in stories that are driven by plot, and supported by cast, then you get both in this movie!

I don’t understand why this movie bombed at the box office. It’s a very adult and mature look at sexual assault and toxic masculinity. It’s also sad how little some things have changed since the dark ages. The film has a very original way of showing 3 points of view of 3 different people and what they perceive as the truth. The action is great, Ridley Scott is a master behind the camera. Definitely recommend!

THE LAST DUEL should be receiving all the awards attention that HOUSE OF GUCCI is currently getting. While a bit overlong, this Rashomon-like tale of pride, lust and being the hero of your own story is quality filmmaking. Ben Affleck gives an outstanding supporting performance, which deserves an Oscar nomination. While we have three protagonists, Jodie Comer rightfully stands out above Damon and Driver.

Great story, great performances, and great action at the end. If you want a solid movie that isn’t about super heroes, isn’t part of a franchise with 10+ films, and isn’t trying to force an agenda, then this and Topgun Maverick are your best options. Also, the 4K version is great compared to the 1080p Blu-ray.

Superb 4K image. The 2+ hours is worth the DUEL which is exciting with edge of seat suspense and great sonic impact. Excellent story although I prefer my story arcs told linearly versus as seen from three viewpoints. The differences among the points of view don't hold up on repeat viewings for me. Well drawn characters although some stilted acting mars an otherwise well produced period piece.

This film is based on true events. Directed by Ridley Scott starring Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer and Ben Affleck. Damon character fights Adam Drivers character in what turns out to be the final duel fought in France over the accusation from Damon's wife that she was sexually abused by Driver. I enjoyed this film as I very mush like viewing historical movies.

this is a great movie made by ridley scott taken back in the middle ages and it stays true to it. it feels so genuine and we havent gotten anything like this in a long long time. last time i enjoyed a movie like this was when gladiator and braveheart came out. this should definitely be picked up and watched by everyone.

I enjoyed the movie. It portrays a time of that none of us would have wanted to live. It is interesting to see what it might have been like and how to survive. It is based on a true event in French history and how grave offenses were resolved.

So it plays the same story from 3 different perspectives over and over, about 45 mins each time, which does drag on a bit, but not horribly so. The duel at the end is worth it. The audio/video of the duel with a good system was very intense. Overall better than I expected.

I had not heard this story before I saw the movie and I understood going in that it would be a long movie because it is told from three points of view. A female's point of view isn't ignored or glossed over which I think was what made this movie work where others have failed in the past.

Historical basis, heavy plot due to implications. Hard to believe what a violated woman had to go through, to restore her honour and good name. The extent to which the man had to go to quite literally stand up for his wife and her testimony of truth in nothing less than incredible.

Wow! Not only is the movie partially based on history but the depiction was excellently directed! The actors portrayed their characters with an excellent portrayal of the characters. I later read about the history! If you like movies based on history this a great one.

Must own, instant classic. Great acting, great casting, compelling story, when action kicks in its realistic, love it. Definitely worth a watch at least. The dont make stirybtelling movies like this anymore.

The duel scene in this movie is one of the most detailed and awesome scenes I’ve seen in 4K. Definitely demo worthy. Also just a great movie. Sad that it performed so poorly in box offices.

The Last Duel has a great cast and is one of Ridley Scott's best films. Matt Damon, Adam Driver, and Ben Affleck all give great performances. Highly recommend.

I thought this movie was very well written. I like that it shows three sides to a story. I thought the acting was pretty good as well. Definitely worth a watch if you’re into the medieval era too.

Beautiful film. They don't make movies like this anymore and sadly this is probably going to be one of the last big budget films like this that gets releases in theaters and a 4k blu-ray.

Never have I ever paid full price for a 4K but couldn’t wait with this one. Anything Jodie Comer does is absolute gold! Great movie, Adam driver is amazing as always. Clean 4k transfer, looks great on an OLED. Pick it up if you can

Excellent movie, starts slow but once the 2nd person's point of view starts, the movie really gets going. 4k quality is good, not the best since its a darker movie so no pop out colors but its still good. Sound is nice too.
