I tried very hard to get the collectors edition and had absolutely no luck (wanted the statue figurine). This edition comes with a beautiful steelbook case with ellie on the front and another character on the back, a physical and digital art book (which I haven't even looked at yet) a data disc just like Red Dead Redemption 2 did, and a game disc. Also included is one of the coolest things I have seen done, a digital soundtrack, but with a twist, it shows different in game footage of various areas from the game minus characters not screenshots but live footage and changes to a different scene about every 2 minutes or so while playing the music.. Awesome. The game is phenomenal, gorgeous, exhausting, emotional, and epic in scale, buy this game, But make sure you've played The Last of Us 1 first or you won't fully understand the Complete story.

The Last of Us Part 2 is a technical masterpiece; the game play is phenomenal and I couldn't put the game down but the story is pretty good in my opinion but how the story is really varies from person to person.

I am in awe at this game and the physical aspect of this edition. With a beautiful steelbook, art book, and digital content what’s not to love. This is a phenomenal game and i would rate it in my top ten of all time along with its predecessor

I have been enjoying this game immensely; the graphics are gorgeous and the story line is very compelling. The twists might not be for everyone, but coupled with the compelling gameplay loop, I haven't been able to put my PS4 controller down.

A technical masterpiece, improved gameplay from the original TLoU and a story more nuanced and tougher than the first one, TLoU2 is an insane rise from start to hauntingly sad end. Powerful game from the masters of the craft at Naughty Dog.

I think this is one of the beat games I ever played. Amazing story and graphics. Gameplay is like the first but redefined. I finished this game and almost didn’t want to play anything else after it.

This is a great videogame overall, where aesthetics and gameplay outstands. Story is good, only if you are not infatuated with Joel as most people. Also, the game does not have any "agenda", so do not trust must of the bad reviews

Been a lot of pushback on this game, but it’s a hell of game. It’s emotionally challenging and brutal, but the story is gripping. The level design and gameplay are so finely tuned that I’m not sure this game has any equal.

Not as good as the first game. The gameplay is there but the story is lacking. The first half of the game was pretty good and pretty much what I wanted from a sequel, but the latter half is so boring I actually debated within myself if I even wanted to finish. I see why this game is so divisive. without spoiling anything and giving my opinion on any political/ social / progressive views this game clearly pushes... unfortunately, I’m leaning more toward the side of not liking the game.. not a bad game by any means, but definitely not a masterpiece.

Literal game of this console generation. It's a shame people have review bombed this game. I really hope this doesn't deter people from experiencing this masterpiece from Naughty Dog for themselves. Never has a game made me feel nearly every emotion. Happy, sad, angry, scared, anxious, surprised, etc. I can see the divisiveness but please try to just experience everything that's happening and it really gets you thinking and sparks fantastic discussion, as long as is it respectful and people leave their hate out of it. Obviously this game must be played after part I or it won't have nearly the same effect. The more recently you played part I the better. Do be aware though, this game is not family friendly or for the faint of heart.

An amazing journey from beginning to end. Don't listen to the people who hated this game. I was hooked for the whole time. Game plays amazing as well. Controls are just so good. Instant classic.

This game is not quite as good as the first game, and there are bound to be people who are disappointed, but overall it is a good game. The graphics are amazing and the story is good

big fan of the first one and this continues off that to give you the answers the first one left off beautiful graphics, good story , really long the game drags so gonna have to put in about 10+ hours but good

Graphics, sounds, characters, settings, gameplay, omg this game is amazing. Played it on the PS4 pro and is crazy how good this looks. Amazing game, there’s not much more to say rather than buy it now!!!

You're in for a gorgeous sight with each level and even the finest details put within this game. The story is a little muddled and I personally feel that there are some things that can be done better, but I enjoyed the overall experience. I felt the pain of Ellie but what she had gone through, I didn't want to see her go down such path. Every character shown will give you a new perspective or a more open mind if it was narrow before. The company took a risk and you can have an opinion on it, but either keep it to yourself or be respectful about voicing it. The hate train is unnecessary, play or watch it for yourself to form an opinion.

Disappointed with a few of the writing decisions but overall it's a great story, the gameplay is a fantastic step up from the already great gameplay of the first game, and visually it's absolutely stunning.

When you think The Last of Us you think great story and the sequel delivers. The journey through Jackson, WY and Seattle, WA immerses you in a story of revenge, healing, forgiveness, and acceptance. The story pushes the boundaries of video games as an art form and tasks players with being the emotional vessel that drives the story forward. It can be difficult placing yourself into the shoes of the characters, but the end result is rewarding. The slow gameplay along with the length can make the game drag a bit. However, taking a break around the halfway point for a couple of days reduced any fatigue I experienced. Overall, a great game with a challenging story and the developers should be applauded for taking risks.

Despite what all the reviews were saying, I'm so glad I got this game. Absolutely one of the most beautiful and sad games I've ever played, this is a game that will stick with me for a long time. If you've played the first game, you should know what to expect when it comes to gameplay, not much has changed. The graphics are photorealistic and I often found myself just staring at the surroundings. Story-wise it's a tale of revenge and anger and the stages of grief. If you're a fan of the Wolverine comics, you'll definitely see a parallel of the moment leading up to his death and the lessons he learned of what the path of revenge brings. Anywho, great game, one of the best I've ever played.

PLAYSTATION fans loved the first Last of Us and the bar was set VERY high. Part 2 not only met my expectations but brought the story even further. Love the characters and the mechanics of the game.

This game gets a lot of negative reviews for no reason. Some people just like to complain. This game is the BEST looking console game ever created. Story is compelling with great gameplay. Buy it!!
