Since this is my first time playing tlou, I can't help but say this one of the most captivating story lines I've evrr played. Graphics are amazing ,I can only compare with my daughter who has the original version. Though I am a dad of three I try to get in a few hours of gaming each night and I must say my own hang up and I know everyone will joke me and that's fine is the clickers they alwats seem too get a hold of me, even when I take out a few with a brick, shotgun or 38 the bow is useless to me and so is phil I think thats his name. Anyway great game!

This is a must play, must own exclusive game for the playstation. NaughtyDog is the premier game developer. If you've played any of the Uncharted series, you are familiar with their work. The story, graphics and gameplay in this game will keep you coming back until the end. By far my favorite game of all time. I have played it over and over. Dark and violent third person shooter with the best story and character acting I have ever experienced in a video game. Well worth the price. Especially now! Buy it!

Has a very strong and deep emotional story. You will connect with the characters instantly. The story is so well told that you start to care for the characters too much. Gameplay is near perfect and not repetitive. You can choose to run and gun or sneak and attack. I highly recommend this game.to anyone who gets a PS4. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing game. The story is great, and gameplay is even better. Always keeps you on your toes and sucked into the game. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an awesome single player game.

What's is there still to say about The Last of Us in 2016? This is still, by far, the best narrative driven game ever made. I'm not a fan of the actual gameplay (not that it's bad, I just don't enjoy stealth games that much), but it's so worth it to progress the story and learn more about these wonderful characters. If you played the original on PS3, the remaster does seem a bit jarring at 60fps when you first start but you'll get used to it. There's really no excuses left for not playing this masterpiece yet.

Do yourself a favor and play this game. I never played it on the PS3 so I went ahead and purchased this remastered edition for my new PS4. For me, too many cutscenes are annoying. This had ALOT, but the story is so good that I don't mind at all. It's the perfect mixture of cutscenes and gameplay for this kind of game. It's not open world, but a linear path, which makes sense considering it's a story driven game. Also I'm hearing the story lasts arounf 12-16 hours so it's easily worth the 20 dollars.

The last of us is totally deserving of the numerous 'Game of the Year' awards it received. It is hands down the best game i've ever played. The last of us combines all the elements we look for in modern gaming: immersion, fantastic story telling (with good voice-overs), stunning graphics, and of course fun gameplay. As a huge fan of the early seasons of The Walking Dead, I can say that the story within the game provides an even more compelling story line than the show, propelling the game forwards and making it totally addictive.

I bought this game when it came out for the PS3 and loved it. It was a 5 star game then. The Remastered edition for the PS4 just makes it better. The remastered visuals are slightly better than the original, but I honestly hoped for a little more. Maybe in the way of a little more AI refinement for the companion characters and more realistic character movements in some spots. Its not a bash because this game already out performs anything else out there when delivering facial expression, emotions, story telling, cinematics and over-all detail. There are a few visual glitches I have ran into in the game, but nothing detrimental to the experience this game delivers. The extra content included is a great bonus and puts the game over the top. So to sum it up, it's just a great game made slightly better with all the extras. I gave it 4 stars only because of the visual glitches that are not in my original PS3 copy, and because I experienced the only lock-up/crash I have ever had on my PS4. I haven't experienced any further issues with the game though.

I played this masterpiece back on PS3 and it started really growing in my mind to give it another go-through. So much so that it finally made me buy a new PS4 after much deliberation. It's just that great! The Last of Us is basically an Academy Nominated film that puts you in charge of the main character. It gets a lot of flack by being called overrated. But I disagree. This game really makes you appreciate gaming. It brings itself to life more than any COD ever would or will. 5/5 for me.

I never got to play this on my PS3 when it was first released. I kept putting it off. Then I got a PS4 when Infamous came out in March. I was very excited when I heard there was going to be a remastered version of this game. It didn't disappoint. The game looks and plays very well. The story so far is extremely interesting. The gameplay is also very smooth. I won't be able to compare the PS4 experience to the PS3 one because I haven't played that one. I do recommend everyone get this game if you haven't enjoyed it on your PS3s yet.

There's a reason this game won so many awards. Naughty Dog brings the same cinematic pacing and story development as the Uncharted series to a grittier, morally compromised world filled with clicking zombies and bad people (or are they just trying, like you, to survive?). The opening sequence alone is worth the price of admission. The ps4 version offers better graphics and the dual shock 4's added abilities are used fairly well. The light on it actually helps set the mood. Multiplayer does exist though I have yet to try it.

This may be a little hyperbolic, but I think this is one of the best games ever made and is a great example of the future of story-based video games. The story is very well-written, the characters are multidimensional, and the game itself is fun and requires thought and strategy to complete. I think it's a game that everyone should play at some point and I hope that it remains available in the future. I also hope that Naughty Dog goes on to make more great games that similarly include good writing and gameplay.

This game will make you cry, angry, laugh, scream, but most importantly, cry again. The story is unparalleled to most, if not all, games in the industry, and even surpasses many films as well. The complex characters have so much realistic depth to them, the game makes you want to learn more about them. But the gameplay is probably what most are wondering about, and in my opinion, it's solid. But really, if you need a reason to play this game, play for the amazing story.

I've played this game about 3 times. The first time I did I was amazed by the graphics, looks so real. The storyline really pulls you in from the first 10min of the intro you just knew this game was going to be awesome. It makes you feel an unusual connection with these fictional characters. The type of game that you become obsessed with and can't put down because you want to know what comes next. The ps3 version had a few glitches when it first came out but in the remastered one they fix all that. Great game.

The Last of Us is impeccably crafted and overall a well done game. It's called anything from a masterpiece to the greatest game people have played, but this is the remaster, so I'm going to focus on how worth it it is to pick up for a first, as well as a second play through. If you have never played this game before, buy it. This game will give you more hours and higher quality gameplay than almost any other for the cost. The replay value, multiplayer, free DLC and difficulty are enough to warrant the purchase, but if you already owned it on PS3... Buy it again. In order to see why this game is worth picking up a second time, let's look at what "Remastered" actually means. 16 dollars gets you: - 30 dollars worth of DLC bundled in free. - Improved visuals, shadows, framerate (60 fps), textures, etc. - Dualshock 4 integration. Audio logs can now be played via the controller instead of needing to stay in the menu, the light bar signals how low your health is, etc. - FULL LENGTH making up documentary included. - Directors commentary optional during cut scenes, includes other voice actors as well. - Photo mode. - Hardest difficulty mode that used to be DLC now included as well as being accessible for first play throughs. - Advanced audio options finally. -Multiplayer boost for Ps3 owners. So for 16 dollars, you get 30 dollars worth of DLC, a full length documentary, a multiplayer boost, a new difficulty available instantly... and then after that you add on the remastered visuals and audio. This game features new game plus, high difficulties, engaging and unique multiplayer, engaging and free DLC and now it comes packed with interested special features. All for less money than other games on the system. It's the best bang for your buck for the PS4, even for returning players. This isn't just a remaster, it's how all remasters should be done.

This is by far one of the best video games I've played period. The story, characters and gameplay here is bar none some of the best you will see in a action/drama video game. From beginning to the very end this game will have you playing on the edge of your seat. The gun play on the PS4 is much improved thanks to 60fps smoothness. Some cool new features have been added and load times are almost non existent compared to the PS3 version. Overall this is one of the few games that is deserving of a 5 * rating.

This is an overall great game. It has a story that sucks you in from beginning to end plus it is loads of fun to play.

I purchased this game to play so I'll know whats in store for the second game,which I already have. I didn't know I was gonna be fully immersed into to a grim world with a score that's a masterpiece and story that grips you.

Was always nervous to play this game because the clickers were scary, but once I saw it on sale and Remastered. Oh man. This is a great buy. If you like sneaking games, it's for you. If you like run and gun, it's for you. If you like cinematic games where you care about the characters, it's for you. I started playing it and finished it within the few days I started. This is a fantastic game. Don't miss out! 5/5
