Great Characters, story, and fun battles typical of LoH games. First game to use master quartz.

I’m admittedly still working my way through Trails from Zero (life as a dad of two young kids makes for limited time to game) but I’m loving the cast of characters, story, setting, and nearly ever other part - all of which carry over into this direct sequel. So its highly recommended for anyone who loves JRPGs, the Trails series, and a must for anyone enjoying Trails from Zero.

From story to gameplay and even the graphical style is pleasant to see on a switch. I recommend playing zero first but this game is everything I could have ever dreamed of.

If you have been playing the series in release order (or not im not going to judge). Than you will soon come to understand that the revelations here impact every single future title in the series. There os a raason people say this entry is PEAK TRAILS!

Really good game and the story and characters are flushed out even more! I definitely recommend playing Trails from Zero first before you play Trails to Azure.
