It's a great game either way, but if you can, get the launch edition. The extras are killer!

This game tries to copy older classics like FF but ultimately does not compare.

The gameplay isn't bad, but this is easily the hardest game I have ever played. I have it on what should be easy and yet I wipe of normal enemies. Something is off about the enemy spawns. They are super hard. The bosses are sometimes easier than the mobs.

This is not a bravely default clone even though I wish I could turn off enemy counters freely like bravely default. I'll admit! I'm tired of the chibi characters too, but gameplay is still fun despite being a little on the grindy side. Btw if you didn't preorder then you missed out on a artbook and soundtrack.

This is a fun game. It's not really unique in any way other than the box art that made it stand out, at least to me. But you'll enjoy it and get your money worth if you enjoy a classic take on the Japanese RPG. The music is good, graphics well done and by the end you'll feel satisfied as you beat the game.

I had a high expectation for this game given the people involved on its development. It's not a bad game at all, but it was far less of what I expected. The story is not that good but the characters and the fighting mechanics are a good mix between old-school and modern.

This game is perfect if you miss the old school Final Fantasy games but you are tired of replaying the same games all the time. The story, the music and the gameplay is charming and polished. The game does a good job giving you the basic info regarding how to fight so don’t worry. Perfect portable game!

Game can be difficult since the level ups are random, but the game is very fun and rewarding. You have several hero's to choose from.

This newest 3DS RPG entry is fun as I'm a fan of old school JRPG. Comes with some extra goods too, its a great buy. If you have a 3DS and love RPG's try this one out!

This is definitely a niche game that is not for everyone. There is a lot of grinding involved but it is definitely worth it in the end. The game can be very frustrating at times, but the battle system is great.

Legend of Legacy has great soundtrack, cute art direction, and fun gameplay. A must buy.

I first got hooked on this game by playing the demo. It reminds of some of the old school RPGs I grew up playing. It does have some challenge to it which I enjoy.

Pulling inspiration from old school JRPGs SaGa, Legend of Legacy is a little bit different from most JRPGs. It's light on the story but heavily encourages you just go out and explore its world and immerse yourself in its combat. Those looking for a more anime game like Fire Emblem or Tales will probably be disappointed but if you like interesting turn based combat this one is for you.

If you we're a fan of the recent Bravely Default definitely check this one out.
