Look, I think the evil guy is overdone and that could have been written better. All the other players are terrific and with the 3D I was really involved. Makes all the difference when you are in action sequences if you have that added depth. Liked it in 2D, loved it in 3D.

The 3-D conversion of the film was quite well done, notable depth and clarity. As a new retelling of the Tarzan legend it's no great shakes, but the cast is attractive as are the production values and photography. Black Friday discount made this purchase a no brainer.

outshines all the previous Tarzan movies. Tarzan, loved him in True blood, really great as Tarzan, and Jane, Margot Robbie, loved as Harley Quinn and need more be said! Really good story and lots of action.

Very suspenseful engaging and action pact to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I was surprised that the person I thought to be a villian wasn't. Tarzan was larger than life in this role. Well put together chemistry with the cast. Captured my interest throughout.

I was really surprised at how entertaining this movie was! There were some plot holes but nothing too severe to detract from the story that was being told. Awesome action, Margot Robbie has really come a long way and is so diverse in her acting! She is fantastic!

I thought this was a fresh way of telling the story of Tarzan which has been done so many ways. I wasn’t disappointed at all with the cgi and other added effects. This movie had a terrific storyline as well as great actors. I’ve watched it several times.

This isn't a remake of the Disney version. It's gritty and has a health amount of action. I love that Jane isn't depicted as a damsel in distress in this one either. She's definitely strong and resourceful as she should be. It's refreshing see strong female characters.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I loved that it gave a background on the origins of Tarzan and the movie was very respectful of the animals. Action sequences were well done. We saw this movie in the theaters and liked it so much that we decided to get the DVD.

I did not hear much about this movie before but my daughter recommended that I buy it. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The plot was quite different from other Tarzan movies and the acting was excellent. I will watch it several more times again.

Good take on a old classic. Directed by David Yates (the director of last 4 harry potter movies). Samuel L Jackson and Maggie Robbie are good in this. A little more tamed Lord Greystoke (Alexander Skarsgard) as Tarzan, but still a well balance movie, enjoyable.

I’ll be honest, this is a very underrated movie. I didn’t expect much when I purchased it, my husband wanted to see it and I didn’t think I’d care for it. But wow. Everyone needs to see this movie, and if you haven’t already, go buy it because it’s awesome!

I liked this movie, because it shows Tarzan after he left the jungle and then has to go back. There are flash backs showing how he becomes Tarzan and eventually meets Jane. Christoph Waltz does a good job as the villain, the cgi and the action were pretty entertaining.

I loved the remake of this film. I thought David Yates did a great job directing and I loved the choice of Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan. It is a typical action film with a love story folded in. Thankfully it doesn't go over the top like say, Pearl Harbor.

I grew up watching the Tarzan series. This movie was not a cheesy remake but an updated back in time movie. It begins with us knowing he is already civilized. Hope the make a pre-Legend of Tarzan to watch his journey growing up in the wild to civilization.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like this movie, but it was great! Christoph Waltz always makes a great villain. There's plenty of action and a bit of romance. Margot Robbie makes a strong female lead, and Sam Jackson give that pinch of humor that's needed. The 3D was good.

Nice updated version with great CGI. Some scenes reminiscent of Out of Africa. Samuel Jackson adds to the story along with the time period. If you like this type of adventure it is enjoyable. Difficult character to update now, but handled well.

Considering the many movies and TV series made about Tarzan and the adventures of the man of the jungle, this movie was very well made. The actors were true to the E.R.B. Intended roles and the special effects were well done and kept the action up front.

Great story, fun ride. Have seen so many Tarzan movies, was not sure this would be better or any different; but I found myself enjoying the development of the characters and the entire story as it was presented (this time). Two hours of entertainment!

This adaptation of Tarzon is closer to the book. Now I saw this after I saw suicide squad so I kept thinking of Jane as Harley Quinn. If you can get over that, it is a good movie. The action at the end is a little unbelievable but otherwise good.

I really enjoyed this remake because they made it so realistic and the principle players played their part to the max. I'll waiting and wondering when they'll do a sequel because I have been a Tarzan fan for over 50 years and it's always good to reinvent classics.
