This was such an amazing look into the world of Lord Greystoke after he made it home the first time, and into the relationship between him and Jane. But when he went back to help his real family the apes OMG he was no longer Lord of Greystokes he became TARZAN.

I was not going to purchase this movie, however, watching a rental changed my mind. Great movie to have in one's collection. The movie moved along at just the fight pace and the action was easy to follow. I actually had hoped it ran a little longer.

I'm a Tarzan fan. I've read all 25 of ERB's books. There were several head scratching things about this movie (Tarzan is friends with lions?!?) but overall it's good. Just enjoy the action and don't expect it to hold too closely to the character.

Not your typical Tarzan movie, which is what I loved the most about this movie. Great screenplay, great acting, and great story! It was a nice way of them making this movie, and very different. Loved every moment of the movie, and the picture was amazing.

this was a good release, I like the take on the original story and the incredible job done on the visuals is amazing. they did a super job on creating a jungle look. they also have an incredible Dolby ATMOS soundtrack and since I rock 7.1.4, this is amazing!

This was a great movie. Its not told in the same old way like all the other Tarzan movies were. The apes look so real that you think that the actors are in real danger, but the apes are just men in suits, doing some really awesome acting. I really enjoyed it.

Stunning to the eye and as faithful to the original Tarzan from the books as can be gotten. He’s a good Tarzan and just as good Lord John Greystoke

I reserve 5 stars for only the greatest movies, but this one definitely was as entertaining as it gets. The kind of movie you like to watch over and over again from time to time. Special effects graphics were incredible. You wont be disappointed

I love the fact that the writers incorporated a legend into the actual history of Africa at that time. Leon Rom, and George Washington Williams were actual people who played the same parts in history. It made the movie much more dramatic for me.

This movie is really well done and picture quality is great on 4K. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5, is because it uses the wrong names from the original Disney Movie Tarzan. Then again this wasn't produced by Disney.

I wasn't sure what to think of it based on just the previews, but after watching it, I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. Jane wasn't just a weak little thing needing saving, and the mix of the political drama with the wild was great. Highly recommend.

I have to say that I wasn't really looking forward to another Tarzan movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was well written and performed. I enjoyed it very much and thats why I purchased it. Plus my girl liked seeing skarsgard without a shirt. Lol

This is a wonderful version of Tarzan, very nice story line, the movie will keep you seated and watching it till the end. The action is superb and the gorillas look mighty life-like. It reminded me of the Disney cartoon movie, with grown up action.

Much better movie than I thought and 3D was great. I read all the reviews prior to purchase and I thought the movie was good and the 3D was great. This movie is just another example of how the 3D experience at home can be better than at the theaters.

Nicely done movie, with good special effects, and generally strong performances. Having grown up watching Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan on TV, and of course now on DVD, I thought Alexander Skarsgard didn't live up to "lord of the Jungle".

More and more I am discovering a disconnect between myself and the vast majority of movie critics. I have loved a lot of movies that they have disliked, and that trend continues with The Legend of Tarzan. I highly recommend this movie.

I bought the combo pack which includes the 3D of "LEGEND OF TARZAN" at Best Buy, which was a BEST BUY! I LOVE 3D. Normally not a fan of Tarzan, but this is good. So, buy it, and let TARZAN swing into your house...after buying at BEST BUY.

This movie is fun. ERB fans will recognize names and places from the originally written Tarzan books. Although the story line is completely original, the flashback techniques reveal a story much like what Edgar Rice Burroughs's imagined.

What can I say but wow! This movie was awesome, the story was great the action even better. This is a must see, must own and watch over and over. You will be cheating yourself and sucking at life in general if you don't get this movie. Great movie!

Tarzan, the legend, was very good. I enjoyed watching it. I was expecting it to be more about how he came to be. It focused on a later period of time, after he left the jungle. All in all it was entertaining but was not what I expected.
