Breath of the wild is Nintendo's version of Skyrim. This game is completely open world. There is no linear story to follow, and I have been enjoying my time just wandering around and discovering landmarks and loot. The Master Sword statue is flippin awesome also.

The game was amazing, but why the Master Edition? The included content is fantastic. The included master sword model feels solid, and the goodies included are a treasure for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Absolutely breath taking. This game is beautiful. I got lucky with the Master Edition. It was all sold out. Anyway, the case that comes with it is awesome. Not to mention the master sword. Wow!

This thing has everthing, useful case, nice statue, actually has the game, its really well put together. The statue is really solid construction, some sort of metal, not flimsy as all.

The included statue and map are top-notch! Definitely worth the price I paid after my GCU discount. I'd recommend if more if they weren't sold out already.

This is the Legend of Zelda game everyone has been waiting for and it was well worth the wait! This game is fun and entertaining with it's challenges (and frustrations as I'm sure everyone is seeing the vids of them as they come out). The Master Edition is also worth every penny in my opinion. I think everything is well made and well painted and in reality, it is nowhere near as expensive as some other collector's editions (FFXV) and has some awesome stuff! Get it if you can find it (without paying rediculous ebay prices)!!

As an avid collector, I often find myself questioning whether or not certain special edition bundles are with the money. In the case of the Master Edition bundle, this was a steal ( if you could get your hands on it!) For only $30 more, you could get everything the special edition had but with a Master Sword statue. The best part is, if you are part of best buys gamer club, you pay the same price that you'd spend on the collectors edition ($99) essentially getting the sword for free!!!

Better than Ocarina of Time? It just Might Be...

Fallout/Skyrim/Elder Scrolls meets Zelda in this free roaming and beautiful, vast world! It's too early for me to tell if this game is better than Ocarina (which I consider the greatest game of all time) as I'm only 25 hours into it. But what I can tell you is that the game is worth every penny and this highly sold out/ limited edition Master Edition is one of the rarest Zelda collectible pieces out there. Thanks Nintendo for such a glorious Zelda game!!!

The game received more perfect scores than any other game in gaming history except I think gta2 though it may have passed it as well by now. This game deserves every perfect score and 5 star rating it gets. The amount of ability and creativity this game offers from the shrine puzzles to the enemy battles and the massive open world that begs the player to explore and always seems to keep it interesting and the curiosity rolling. The fact that u can defeat an enemy or group of enemies is so many different ways and solve puzzles in so many diff ways sets this game apart from any other ive seen or played. I bought the master edition because i knew this game was going to b truly epic since I've followed its creation for 2 years before the release. This game is so much more amazing than i could've even imagined and wows me every time i play it as i discover new ways and ideas to play and explore. The master edition has some really cool and valuable extras. The sheikah case is awesome and makes it worth the extra money and the sword statue really compliments and completes the set as a huge zelda fan considering this the most amazing zelda ever in the series. This is not a game to rent. This is a game to buy. As most games bore me after a couple weeks or so of playing with the exception of the elder scrolls series ie. Morrowind and skyrim This game is way more fun yet more re-playable and is always a different experience. There is no tour guide. Just an occasional humble suggestion with only 1 real goal. Defeat van on. U can choose to do this right from the start of the game although u will lose or u can choose to not ever do it unless u want to eventually beat the game. U can truly go anywhere u want anytime u want.

Nintendo nailed it with the newest installment in the Legend of Zelda series. Not only is the open-world in Breath of the Wild massive, it's also got a quality of feeling lively. The combat is the best it has ever been in a Zelda game, also.
The Master Edition of Breath of the Wild includes all the contents of the Special Edition, as well as a nice statue of the rusted Master Sword. The statue is quality, and doesn't feel cheap.

Got it on launch day, was the last one! Arrived early and asked for it to the manager giving numbers for the Switch outside. she said there was only one, and it was first come first served. Stayed at the door and was the first to go inside, true to her word, the last one there. Asked for it and is mine now. I had a pre order that I cancelled with the other collectors edition, but is worth it.

Breath of the Wild gives me mixed feelings. I quite enjoyed my time with the game, and love that I can play it on my TV or on the go. It is a great game that has a number of subtle details that shows you how much the developers put into it. While it is a great game in every sense of the word, it isn't necessarily an incredible Zelda game. The openness of the game retracts from the story, and I do believe the Zelda formula suffers from it in the end. There are only 5 real dungeons in the game, and they are painfully short. Ideally, I would have liked a mix of the dungeons they had in this game and the ones we are typically used to. Weapon durability is a real drag too, especially when you get the Master Sword (if you choose to actually get it, the game doesn't require you to or even tell you how and when to do it, you just have to stumble upon it yourself). Basically, the Master Sword is held to the same weapon durability mechanic and has to be recharged when you use it too much, which doesn't make sense when you consider how it is the blade of evil's bane and all that. The durability mechanic really ruins a lot of the experience for me. Like I said though, the game is a masterpiece, but not a Zelda masterpiece. I still loved it, but a couple of things really mess with my experience overall.
