The Switch launched with only a handful of games and the certain console seller was Breath of the Wild. As a mild fan of LoZ I opted for Bomberman and my console sat in a drawer for a very long time. As the Switch is now cranking out enjoyable titles I finally picked up Breath of the Wild. This game is amazing, if it was launched today it would still retain the hype and praise as it did as the standalone title it once was a few years ago. I regret waiting this long, so don't wait any longer to purchase this game!

This is arguably the best Legend of Zelda entry in decades. Enough challenge to not bore you and non-linear to the point that you don't feel lead and your destiny feels much like it's your own. There are a few times you can feel lost due to the scope of the game. It does not however take away from the excitement of facing and overcoming new challenges. Only change I would recommend is with the weapon system mechanic, it would be great to have the ability to craft your own weapons and ammo.

Amazing graphics, amazing detail and story line, very long game... cannot day enough good things about the game. Big Zelda fan and this game did not disappoint. Must buy!

If you have a switch, this game is one of the ones you have to own. Great story, great adventure, you can get lost in exploration and have an incredible time doing it.

With the switch being half home console and half portable I knew I had to lower my expectations for the overall quality of games compared to the ps4 or xbone. This game proves that doesn't have to be the case. It's deep, it's entertaining, it's beautiful, it has a perfect balance of ease of play and complexity. I know why people buy the switch for this game alone. If you're on the fence about it and have the money to give it a try, do it. I would put it toe to toe with any game.

I have always been a fan of the Zelda games and I was super excited when they released this game. The graphics are beautiful and the open world concept is nice.

This game is a great culmination of the Zelda series. It has built on every game before it and let's the player loose in an open world. A modern masterpiece.

Having played most Zelda games across ALL nintendo platforms, I can safely say this is up there with the best in the series (tie for me with Windwaker!)

It doesn’t matter what the title of any Zelda game is, it is legendary. I love the story line and the game play. You can’t go wrong with this game!!

Open world Zelda game Im in! I havent finished the game because Im getting sidetrack by all thats happening around the world. Overall must buy game!

Probably spent 20-30 hours on this game so far and feels like I've barely scratched the surface. Plenty of time left to continue exploring Hyrule!

This is the most beautiful Zelda game yet, and the best game on the Switch. Breathtaking graphics, immersive gamplay, and a wonderful story. 10/10

My 7 year old son loves it. He likes the open world play and the challenges in the game. Overall a pretty good game that keeps him engaged

I know it's cliche at this point to put this game at the top of the list for the Nintendo Switch - but it is well deserved. It's enjoyable to just wander around and explore - let alone conquer the many quests. As somone who might only have 30 or less minutes at a time to spend on a game it is particularly good. You can find one of the many shrines or side quests and knock those out relatively quickly - giving you a sense of accomplishment while not being overwhelmed by or commited to a longer main quest. Go buy it.

What a beautiful, complex, and fun game. From graphics to puzzle solving to exploration to combat, this game does not disappoint.

Never really played the zelda series, but this game is amazing. So much to do in it. Graphics are amazing even on the switch.

This has to be the greatest open world game made by nintendo. Story and action are very well made, one of my favorite games.

Breath of the Wild is a huge departure from the formula that has worked for The Legend of Zelda for so many years. Gone are the linear story paths. Gone are the massive sprawling dungeons. Gone are the myriad special items, each required to reach certain areas or defeat certain enemies. And these changes have worked out great. Breath of the Wild is a visually stunning open world adventure that will have you glued to your TV or Switch for well over a hundred hours of enjoyment.
