I haven't had this much fun in a single player game in a while. The vast amount of space is incredible and the gameplay is unmatched. If you love open world games and Zelda this is perfect. The storyline is really fun and is hard to put down. All of the puzzles are challenging but not to hard.

My favorite game ever was Ocarina of Time, but once I played this game I can easily say this is one of the best video games I’ve ever played. It can be very tough in the beginning but keep in mind that defense is your best friend and you should upgrade armor whenever possible. Five stars all around!

You don’t need a review just get it. So much to do, I played for hours doing so many things and didn’t even touch the main story. I actually got so into the game and people of the world I forgot the story. The story is great it’s just that I got sucked into these peoples lives lol great game

My son has played just about every game system there is and about every game other than sports games. We got him a Switch for his birthday and recently bought this Zelda game due to his requesting a new cool game. He has really enjoyed this game and says it is true to the game series.

I get it, you're nostalgic and want to play BotW. Me too. I also wanted something that could fill that empty hole in my heart since I ran out of content in Horizon Zero Dawn. So what did I do? I bought a Switch, a pro controller, and this game. It's good, but could be much better. Pros: This game is fun. The story is very immersive and you can get into it really quickly. The world is massive and there is SO MUCH to explore. The fighting system is fun and the weapons have different animations on attacks. Play it with the Pro Controller. Seriously, do that if you want a good experience. This whole game was well thought out and deserves to be labeled as an amazing game...mostly. Cons: This game is tedious. The world is big and controlling Link is sometimes frustrating. The graphics are OK, but I feel like I'm playing a PS2 game in 2003 when cell-shading was all the rage. You will get screen tearing and little glitches and freezes. Weapon durability is horrific. I can barely fight 4-5 enemies with good weapons without them breaking and I need to find something else I like. Here's some news, Nintendo, metal swords that are well forged don't generally break easily or quickly. Overall: This game is a must-have for Zelda fans. It's a must-have if you like open-world games AND own a Switch. This game is not even close to the quality of Horizon Zero Dawn in terms of immersion, customization, graphics, original ideas, or controls. If you have a Switch, by all means get this game. If you're nostalgic and NEED Zelda in your life, get this game. It's a good game. However, if you don't own a Switch and aren't a fanboy/girl for Zelda/Nintendo, this game isn't enough to justify a Switch. It's barely enough to justify its continued cost of the original retail price (seriously Nintendo, that's price gouging). If you want the best open-world game with original thought, no recycled story or characters, and genuinely deserving a Game of the Year 2017 title, this game is not it. Tl;dr: Get it if you have a Switch (with a Pro Controller). This game isn't enough to justify getting the console alone.

My brother and I both bought this game day one. I have completed it twice, and my brother has done it 4 times, 2 of them being without teleporting. Recommended it to my boss, he and his kids love it. Bought it for my cousin, and he said it was his favorite Christmas gift. 10/10

While I’ve never played Zelda before, I tried this game out because I’ve always wanted to get into the Zelda series. I haven’t gotten very far into the game as of yet, but I love the graphics, design, detail, etc!

This takes the classic Zelda experience and adds some new elements that make the experience fresh and interesting. Great for fans of the series and anyone who enjoys the large open world fantasy adventure games. The art style is gorgeous and the gameplay is so much fun.

If you ever played The Legend of Zelda on the NES, then you know that the true Zelda formula is, "Here's a weapon, now go." There is no linear gameplay, you can go wherever you want whenever you want. I put in 120 hours before even touching the DLC, the exploration is endless

Different but fun Zelda Game, Open World, pretty sure no updates are needed, put in the your switch and you are good to go

This game is everything you could dream of in a Zelda game. It has all the core elements that makes Link's journey so special with the incredible added beauty of the switch graphics and abilities that aren't in all Zelda games. This is the one game to have on the switch.

I am NOT a gamer. I have never been a gamer. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has changed that. I cannot get enough. I love the open world concept and being able to work on quests when I want to and just wander when I want to. I love this game! It has changed my world!

It's Zelda. And it's Zelda done on a different scale with a different feel. But ultimately it was done in a new way that makes sense and is fun to play. You'll get hours out of this game and I think it's a step in the right direction for the future of the series.

I am new to the switch . I played Zelda a few years ago . I just bought this game & I haven’t played it yet. I am looking forward to it. I can’t really comment much on the game. The reviews were great & I watched some game play on YouTube & it looks like a winner.

A Legend of Zelda game that not only matches the nostalgia I feel for classic games like Ocarina of Time, but far exceeds it and all my expectations. This is the future of the franchise, and I cannot see what they may hace in store for the future. 1000/10

If your going to get any game get The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Starter Pack Standard Edition - Nintendo Switch seriously worth it 500 hours in and still entertained like I was the first time I played it

But the game is. While my son is getting the most benefit of the game, I'm getting the laughs as he realizes every video game meme in one game. (Spoiler Alert: Don't hurt the chickens!) He's made that mistake, and regrets every single choice leading up to it!

By far the best game I’ve seen on switch. Feels like old times again with a Zelda game, even has the same background music at times reminds of my kid days. My daughter is starting to figure out the basics now but, this game seems like it will take its time.

This game is so good! There is a HUGE world to explore and you can do anything you want in any order. That is a huge departure from the zelda formula and it works so well! This is one of those once in a generation games that every switch owner must play!

As a lifelong Zelda fan, this game provides a new twist to the series. It has the classic feel with yourself graphics, story, and controls. It's really fun!
