This game was a true joy to play, reminding me of the classics I grew up playing. Here’s hoping that Nintendo makes a remaster of A Link to the Past in this same style. The clay-styled graphics blend seamlessly into the top-down perspective of the early Zelda games.

There was a lot of anticipation around the release of this game and it does not disappoint. One of my favorite Zelda games so far. It has that look and feel of the Super Nintendo game Zelda A Link To The Past with incredible upgraded graphics. You will spend a lot of time playing this title.

Loved this game back on the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. The game is packed full of charm, beautiful aesthetic and has a phenomenal soundtrack. And it doesn't have poor gameplay design /mechanics like weapon desegregation and no dungeons, like a certain other Zelda game.

I didn't play the original admittedly, but I did play A Link Between Worlds, and comparing it with that I have to say I'm a little disappointed. It's 2 different games from slightly different times in history, but it is a little basic. It IS a GB game though, so keeping that in mind and thr fact that it still IS Zelda overall, I think it's pretty good. The graphics and reimagining is well done, too.

The original game is really good. This one just looks better with modern variations and mechanics. The art direction is really(cute and)thoughtful in regards to the original “sprite” style. The included art book shows the evolution of the games art direction.

Awesome collection addition for any Zelda fan. Art book is amazing and very high quality. Game is a true remake that makes an old fan happy, and it’s fresh with new ideas , graphics, play mechanics that it’s improved the original a lot. Great buy

This is a good remake of an old GameBoy game. The update is nice on the eyes with simple game play. My problem is the frame rate throughout the game. I know the switch is not a powerhouse but usually Nintendo games run better. I am also not a fan of the intentional blur of the screen edges while playing. Not sure why they chose to do that but it's not a good look.

Whether you've played the original 1993 version or are new to the game, you will enjoy this classic. It's plays just like the original story wise but with awesome updated graphics. The dungeon maker is a cool feature but not my cup of tea.

The game is great. It's classic Zelda. I also LOVE the art style. One thing I don't quite like it the blue effect around screen but that's a minor thing. The Dreamer Edition is an great value and the included artbook is beautifully done.

I loved the original Link's Awakening, and played it multiple times on both the original and the DX colored version. This is such an amazing remake that captures how amazing and adorable this game is. A must for any Legend of Zelda fan!

Excellent remake of a great game. It’s funny how my memory still has a lot of secrets from this game hidden away that came out a few moments after starting it. Even if you’ve 100%ed this game on the game boy it is worth it to do it again

The game is fun and the style is very fun and cute. The game plays pretty much the same as anyone that played it on Game Boy back in the day or played Link to the Past. One glaring issue is the framerate dips that occur when traversing the main map and in some dungeons. There's noticeable slowdown and it takes a moment to bounce back to 60 FPS. It hasn't deterred me from playing, but it's something that I see more than I wish I did.

This is a wonderful Zelda game that is a must play if you haven’t already. Totally worth the $60 price point, even if you have played it before, the upscale new design is cute but it’s still the perfect little game you remember!

For anyone who has missed the original, it's a great game to play. It's also understandable to wait for a price drop since it's also not that long and there's no extras. But as a complete remake, it's a really gorgeous game.

This is a great game that captures the magic of the game boy original with some nice additions. It looks and controls very nicely. The extra art book and box artwork are simply beautiful. A must have for Zelda fans.

This is a great remake of the original Link's Awakening. The new art style is gorgeous, and the music is also very good. The artbook included in the dreamer edition is also very good with a lot of characters/enemy arts.

I think the game is fun especially if you were a fan of the original version. It's interesting to see how the graphics have changed drastically. I especially loved the photo book that came with this edition.

Never played the original, happy to have experienced this with beautiful graphics on the Switch. Definitely worth picking up if you're new, and even more so if you want to re-experience the nostalgia!

Such fond memories of blowing through AS batteries on the old game boy playing this game as a kid and this game is an amazing remake and so worth the extra money for the dreamer edition if you can find it.

Wasn't a big fan of breath of the wild so seeing a Zelda remake from the good old days got my hopes up. After playing it, I can say I really enjoyed it, but knowing the next major Zelda game is BoTW2 only makes me sad. Let's see if Nintendo fixes the terrible frame rates, weapon breaking, stamina meter and those horrible shrines that only feel like filler. Where are all my temples Nintendo?
