Amazing remake of a classic. Whether you remember the original or you're new to the series, this is a must have for the Switch. Very fun as the original was with some additions so it doesn't get boring.

I was very lucky to get a copy of this edition. The art book is beautiful and very cool showing concept art. And the game is a faithful adaptation of the original game with a couple new additions.

i actually never played the original game. i got what games were given back then haha. but this was a fun, if short, game. the mario references are funny

A wonderful journey, perfect Zelda game. If you are reading reviews and are not familiar with the Zelda games then just buy this. So well made and worth while. Great all round adventure game.

I'm biased as I'm a huge Zelda fan, but this game looks great. I'm a big fan of the original, and this remake does that game justice. The Dreamer Edition was worth the extra cost, for me.

Link's Awakening was always one of my favorite Zelda games and this remake is just beautifully done. If you've played the old one or not, this needs to be in your Switch collection.

This is one of those games that you play And asked yourself if it’s the same game you previously played. It looks so different and beautiful looking that it just felt like a new game.

My childhood all over again. The graphics were wonderful. It stood up to the original from the game boy days. Couldn’t put it down until I completed the game.

Link's Awakening was admittedly never one of my favorite games in the Zelda series. I always found the puzzles too nebulous, and clues on where to go and what to do next to be vague to nonexistent. It's probably not a game that you'll finish without the help of an online guide from time to time. That being said, this is a near-perfect remake of the Game Boy original with a really nice, shiny new coat of paint and an expanded control set that is very, very welcome. Having originally been a portable game, the overworld is not as vast or explorable as many other Zelda games; it's a bit more confined than you might expect, with lots of areas being closed off to you until you've found the proper items. I finished this game in 25 hours and mostly had a good time playing it, and it's a nice filler game between Breath of the Wild and its sequel. I'm not sure it's quite worth the full $60-70 asking price of more expansive retail releases, but if you're a Zelda fan, you'll find plenty to enjoy. The art book that came with the Dreamer Edition is very high quality and a nice special edition add-on, though Nintendo rarely produces more of these editions after their first run. All around, a fun game and a recommended purchase.

This was my favorite Zelda game growing up and it still holds up, although probably not the best Zelda game overall. The new art style works and I loved every minute of it.

For those who don't know, this isn't a brand new Zelda game, it's a remake of the Gameboy/Gameboy Color versions. Besides the obvious graphical enhancements, the game has become much more user-friendly. If your only experience with the series is a game like Breath of the Wild, it may not be what you're expecting, so try to be open minded

Link's Awakening is just as fun on the Switch as it was back on the Game Boy. The new art style is adorable and definitely makes exploring the familiar island feel fresh.

Even though this is a remake of an old Game Boy game, the classic Zelda charm shines through making for an excellent adventure to relive it experience for the first time.

A massive improvement over the original, being able to have sword and shield equipped at all times is the big one, and the new graphics look amazing.

All you get is an art book in this edition but it's only for $10 more! Too bad it seems like it's only a limited release to people who preordered. Good luck finding it!

Great game and stayed true to being a true remake of the Game Boy version. My only complaint is to Best Buy doing a terrible job at shipping this and damaging the box.

I remember playing this on my Game Boy many years ago. Now I get to play it all over again! Awesome game, great graphics! A must buy for any old school Zelda fan.

Whodoesn't like zelda games, great remake with new dungeon maker. Same old zelda game with a new look. Hopefully they start remaking the other top down zelda games.

I checked the website the day before release and I saw there was one left at my local Best Buy! No brainer to buy. This game is a classic made into better 3D art!

Game has not disappointed. It has everything the original had and more. The clay grafx is a great touch. Makes the game come to life. I highly recommend this game.
