Great game and even better on NS2! Graphics are greatly improved.

I remember when I was 7 and recieve my first original gameboy it came with this little gem called The Legend of Zelda Link Awakening. The sad part I never really beat it and bum me out being very young had a difficult time play it. So when Nintendo announced an acutal remake for the switch. To be honest, I did not like the look of it that it didn't grab me. But last week, i suddenly change my mind and gave it a go. I was so wrong that I love this cute game and how beautiful this mysterious island really is that Nintendo put a lot love to this classic. Truthfully, I not a big zelda fan but I own it to myself to play this gem again. Link Awakening is the only zelda game I really care about, Goty material, and a timeless classic I glad to have on the switch.

I am a big fan of the Zelda games. When I saw this in the store I had to purchase it. It is a great game. I have played through it twice and throughly enjoyed it. If you are a fan of Zelda and Link you need to purchase and play this wonderful game.

Really good remake of the original GameBoy game. Nostalgic and fun.

My son loved it! Played it over and over for the days he was visiting WA. Used his Switch game to the big TV

I love Link's Awakening. It's a great Zelda title. That being said, I'm not hugely into or even remotely a fan of chibi art style so that was a little disappointing initially. I did get over it and I am endeared to the remake now. The only thing I'm not super fond of is the 30fps cap and the lackluster performance at times. A great remake that could have been better.

Link's Awakening was one of my favorite gameboy titles and playing the new remake was a great nostalgia trip. Game does have some framerate / slowdowns which is my biggest issue with it though it did not prevent me from playing the game to the end.

This is far and away the best version of Link's Awakening available! The extra button and quality of life improvements makes it far superior to the Gameboy and Color iterations, and it includes all the bonuses found in the Color version! A must play for classic Zelda lovers.

Completely different than any other Zelda game I’ve played. You start off not being able to so much as jump, but it ends up like every other Zelda game where you’re loaded with gear and can travel anywhere with ease. I really hope they remake more Zelda games for the switch.

I'm a huge Zelda fan and the new remake of Link's Awakening for the Switch is a stellar upgrade from the old gameboy version. Not only does it feature updated graphics and gameplay but it also features some familiar characters from a certain red hatted plumber's franchise.

So fun to play from Zelda’s side! Definitely a learning curve but by the end we got the hang of it!

I have not played this one yet but I'm sure it's easier then the other Zelda games.

Great game, beautiful graphics, much prefer this to the open world games, and it's not a massive time commitment. Enjoyed this on the the gameboy color, and it's even better on the switch.

Great remaster of a zelda classic a must have for zelda fans

This is a remake of the Game Boy version and it really deserved to be re-made. It is a fantastic game. They kept it almost exactly like the original but improved on a few things slightly! Overall it is a 5 star game and worth being in anyones Switch collection.

Such a classic game and love that its is remade for switch!

This was a great remake of the original link's awakening. I love the visual style of the game, its a good mix of modern look and old game play feel. The game is not too terribly challenging but I enjoyed adventuring around the island and getting more an more equipment to unlock previously unreachable locations. My 7 year old seems to enjoy it and doesn't find it too hard. My only complaint is that the game does at points leave you wondering where to go next.

This remake is gorgeous! It plays almost exactly like the original game boy game from the 90s and has plenty of much-needed Quality-of-Life improvements. Play this game if you haven't, it's a great experience for Zelda fans and adventure fans alike

Great zelda game, Just in time for the switch lite. It's a great handheld game. Looks a little laggy when playing in docked mode. Notice a little frame rate drops from scene to scene. Easy for kids to play as well. The puzzles are pretty straight forward
