I loved the original 1993 version on Game Boy. The Switch remaster is better. Love this game a lot.

This is an excellent little game. If you are a returning zelda gamer or new comer to Zelda game you will enjoy a tight compact game where you are not overwhelmed like the open world games of today. The game has a map but often not needed but very nice to have when you get stuck on some puzzles or when you are learning to use magic dust. I only made it to second boss but I've been enjoying it. I don't know how many hour this game takes to complete. I don't really care about that because I have game that have 100s of hours and might play 5. This is a fun game to play and finish even more so if you happen to be like me and rarely finish most games. Enjoy! I also enjoy to side scrolling parts.

The controls and game play easy for someone being introduced to the series. They offer a master quest for those of us looking for more of a challenge. There are enough side quests to keep you occupied for a few hours as well.

This is such a pretty remake of the classic links awakening title from the gameboy. Can easily recommend to any who enjoyed breath of the wild and wants more Zelda in their switch collection.

Lots of fun, very faithful to the original GB Game. Somewhat short, but it's a GameBoy game, so I guess that figures. Not sure if it's worth $60 considering how short it is, but if you enjoyed the original it's a must have.

What a neat rendering of an old favorite that I played on the Gameboy. The game is visually appealing, but not overwhelming. It was turned into a "Switch" game, but still keeps its Nintendo Game Boy feel. Really great.

Beat it pretty fast but really enjoyed my time. Sometimes it difficult to figure out what to do next, but just make sure you talk to people and pay attention to the hints. Games better when you don’t look up a guide.

Our family loves the Zelda franchise, they are always fun and we have a great time playing them. This game is no exception! The game wasn't super long, but the animation is cute and fun, and we really enjoyed the game!

I’m gonna say this is the first top down TLOZ game i have beaten... ive played a link between worlds and a link to the last but have never beat them. anywho my thoughts
the games art style cute as heck. it really makes it stand out amongst the other top down TLOZ games. i played this on my switch lite so handheld only. it looked beautiful, no frame rate drop issues that i could say took away from the experience. Now the story is also refreshing compared to majority of the zelda games. Instead of hyrule you’re in koholint island. Instead of saving the princess you’re waking a fish up???? from his dream??!? which is the island itself???? and spoiler alert, you wake him up and literally make everyone you interacted with in the island cease to exist??!?? anyway i put a lil over 15 hours in this game and i didn’t even 100% it! the dungeons were good fun nothing too difficult but i did take my time on the last two. the boss fights were a little too easy in my opinion, the final boss was fun and tricky. just wish the others were a lil more like that. ANOTHER BIG ISSUE in my opinion was the fact that you could only have 2 items equipped at a time!! what is this?!?! this isn’t the gameboy! it was annoying and took out of the gameplay having to pause and change items every time i wanted to use a bomb. the switch has more than enough buttons to map at least 4 items. Or even do shovel night and switch between them with L and R.! That being said i still really enjoyed this game.
rate: uhhh idk if i m gonna do number ratings but i’d give it a B HAHAHA THATS LETTER id give it like a 7.5

a charming and beautiful game. As a remake of a remake the balance and mechanics are perfect with a wonderful sound track and fun story. easily 14-25+ hours and at no time did it feel boring.

I never got to play the original LInk's Awakening, but I did play Link's Awakening DX, and this game captures the magic from that game perfectly! It's amazing to see this game available with the technology of today!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this game, so much! It had been a long time since I've played the original Link's Awakening. So playing this game again but in 3D style was both a blast from the past and a new experience.

Great game! Hours and hours of enjoyment. My five year old gets frustrated at times because he gets stuck but ultimately figured it out. Game that makes you think and not for those who quit easy

Bought this game as a present for someone who loved the original game on Gameboy. Very cute game, and easy to play for all ages/skill levels. Highly recommend for any Zelda fan.
