This game is a must have for all "The Legend of Zelda" fans. It is really entertaining and I really liked the create you're own dungeon feature.

This is a great remake of one of my favorite Zelda games. I noticed some subtle changes such as a couple bosses behaving a bit different, felt different jumping and swinging the sword at the same time. Stuff like that. Some people complain about the price but I think its worth it considering how beautiful a job they did on this. I only wish it was a longer game. I guess that is my only real complaint. Somehow the original seemed longer but of course I was 7 back then lol.

I totally enjoyed playing this game "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" for Nintendo Switch it really brought back some fond memories of my teenage years when this game was originally introduced for the GameBoy Color. The remake is beyond better, the graphics and the colors are truly colorful, unlike the primitive GameBoy Color which looked rather faded and wasn't very colorful (variety of colors). It was so long ago that I enjoyed it as if I'd never before played it.

I never played this when it came out originally on GameBoy and its previous releases. The thing that attracted me to get version was its art style. Admittedly I been using youtube a lot when I got lost. Its one of those games that I compare to NES Super Mario where you just play it over and over and never get bored. I'm not even done with it yet but knowing I'll playing again because I know what to do and its just fun to play.

I had the version of this game on Game Boy Color, and I loved every second of it. This Switch version is so good. It has some quality of life improvements, like the Sword, Shield, and Boots tied to dedicated buttons. In the original there was a lot more item switching, and this version makes things a bit nicer.
I'm glad they did a remake that included the Color Dungeon of the Game Boy Color version. I always liked going to get the Blue Armor.
It's fun, accessible, and a faithful remake to a portable classic. Highly recommended.

Remake of an underrated classic. Originally released for the Gameboy Color, this reimagining brings new life and charm with it's polished graphics and game mechanics.
Be warned, this game dips in framerate in certain areas, and could definitely improve its stability.
Another nitpick is the blurring effect in the gameplay. Though not game breaking, it is somewhat noticeable.
It is not a perfect game, but as a Zelda fan I believe newcomers or people coming in after BoTW being their first Zelda, will enjoy this classic installment.

I had a lot of fun playing through this game. The redone graphics and soundtrack are really striking while keeping the game itself faithful to the original. There's not as much here as there is in Breath of the Wild by far, which is to be expected given the time the original game came from, but there's still plenty to do. The gameplay is challenging without being too frustrating and forces you to really think through the puzzles. The story is also excellent. I was on the fence about buying this game, but I'm really glad that I did.

If you are a veteran of the series like myself. Then, you’ll feel right at home playing this. Especially if you played the original Links Awakening on Game Boy. Or the DX version on Game Boy Color.
But, if you are a newer player who started with Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Then this is still a title I’d definitely recommend. Even though it doesn’t have the open world aspect of that game. It’s worth playing to experience what classic 2D Zelda is like. And this remake is also gorgeous. One of the best looking Switch titles!
This is how an old game should be ported to Switch

I never played this game before even though I'm part of the older generation of gamers who could have picked this a while ago. Having said that, the game is very well presented, and it reminds me of old Zelda games - especially SNES ones. This will also present me with an opportunity to show my 5 yr-old child on how these awesome games are before introducing him to more "open-range" games such as Breadth of the Wild, and my kid actually seemed to enjoy it while I was playing it.

Its a wonderful remake. However! it's is only a remake. if you plan to buy this expecting a little more, its there with the dungeon maker mini game. but that's mostly all that's been added. I view this is a better version of Link's Awakening and that's pretty much what I've been given. The price is the deciding factor that's understandable, for myself, it was a no brainer, but if your feeling iffy about it, just get it on sale.
