The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is a classic. The 3DS version has improved graphics and some updated dungeon design (I'm looking at you Water Temple...). A must have for 3DS owners and adventure game fans.

An octopus has many lives, but lemons are tart. Video games........10/10 would calamari again!

The original is probably as close to a perfect adventure game as you can possibly get. Nintendo could have just ported over the original version and I'd still post a glowing review, but they went the extra mile. More than just a mere remake, OOT3D overhauls the visuals and overhauls the weak points of the N64 original, making the notorious Water Temple a little more bearable. The mirrored and remixed Master Quest is the true star of this, though, making a game I've played since childhood seem suddenly fresh and new. I can't recommend this enough.

I've been a long-time fan of Ocarina of Time (it's firmly in my top 5 games ever), but had only ever played it on N64. This 3DS port is a wonderful way for younger gamers to discover one of the most influential games ever made, while older gamers can re-discover their love of it in it's new, improved form. All the things that made the game great initially are still here, with the added bonus of improved visuals and the 3D. Really looking forward to playing through the world of OoT again, start to finish. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this game. Played it as a kid on the N64 and had to have it for the 3DS. Looks so much better and plays so much better too. Best part is that once you have beaten the game you unlock a new master quest version of the game which is harder and dungeons are redone to be either mirror from the original or completely different. If you thought the water temple was hard the first time wait till you get there in this version. Very highly recommend getting this game and never getting rid of it.

I played this game like crazy when it was on the N64. Now that I have a Nintendo 3DS, this was one of the first games I got for it. It's just like I remembered: challenging, fun, beautiful, and just generally awesome. The controls took me a second to get used to, but once I did, they fit flawlessly. The only gripe is the save system. You can save anywhere, but once you load the game, you start back at specific places. If you're a kid, you start back in the tree house where you first begin the game. As an adult, you start back at the Temple of Time. (Unless you're in a temple/dungeon, in which case you start back at the beginning of it.) I don't remember if it was like this on the N64, but it's a little annoying having to run all the way back to where you were. That aside, fantastic game.

Not much needs to be said about this amazing adventure, but this remaster is surely a worthwhile facelift. Everything has been remastered quite tastefully while still preserving the perfection of the original. I love the 3D. I wouldn't play it without it, but if I had to, it would still be just as good, but having that option, completely justifies this remaster in every way. This one will have a permanent place in my gaming library. Enjoy!

A game you can pick up years later and enjoy all over again. Engaging, entertaining, challenging and crafty. Puzzles to simulate the mind, epic battles that still stand today, and a wide world to explore if you're seeking adventure. This game really does have something four everybody. Although I wouldn't give it a 10 out of 10. More often than not you can find your self wandering around looking for what to do next with little to no indication on what to do next. Plus although hyrule is a large world with lots to do, it's filled with much empty space and makes exploring a chore until you become adult link, after which you get the horse. That being said, faults like these are few and far apart, and the game stands On its own two get in ALMOST every aspect. 8.5 out of 10 in my opinion. Subtle imperfections they could have been prevented stop it from a perfect score. But this game (in my opinion) is as close to perfect as it gets. Still the best game I've Ever played.

The Legend of Zelda OOT is one of the best games in history. Nintendo did great in remaking this game. The graphics looks good, the touch screen is easily accessible for switching items on the fly. It makes switching from iron boots to hover boots in just a second instead of going through the start menu. Great story, great temples, and it is great all around, one of the best Zelda games ever.

It's no secret that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has won numerous awards for being the Greatest Game Ever Made. While the title might be contestable to a small handful of history's games, Ocarina of Time has made a revolutionary jump to how 3D games were played. Lock-on targeting, inventory management, and sword combat were played in a never-before-seen way in 1998 when the original game came out on N64. Basing many of its elements on its successful predecessors, A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time took its series into 3D with a large number of new, clever, and innovative puzzles and battles. Ocarina of Time 3D retextures the game to look fresh and polished for 2011. Quality textures and animations make this standout and the definitive version of the game to play. Added to Ocarina of Time's content is a boss rush mode and a Hero Mode, which adds the original Master Quest's puzzles, inverts the game, and doubles damage from enemies. Fans of Ocarina of Time looking for a challenging version of the title should add this to their collection. This game is recommended for any and all 3DS owners.

The Legend of Zelda never disappoints. This remake of the original N64 has all the same controls and story. It's a great game if you're looking for puzzles and a great story plot. And it has hours of gameplay! It's a must-have for any gamer. This will forever remain a classic in video games.

This game is a masterpiece. If you missed out on playing it when it was released on the Nintendo 64, I highly recommend you pick this game up. I don't want to say anything as to not spoil the gameplay, but the controls are very good and the story is good too.

Had Ocarina of Time on N64, but no longer own the console or game. 3DS version is an awesome portable version of the original game with slightly updated graphics. The controls work well on the 3DS and the secondary screen is used to organize items and gear.

Another great game of The Legend of Zelda series! I wasn't able to get the original game for the N64 when I grew up so I felt like I missed out. This game is great remake of the old version and the color quality is amazing! Plus you can play it on to go!

This is the same game as the old one, but expanded with new graphics but the same classic sounds. You can also play the master quest after you beat it, which is harder. This is a great way to introduce a classic you may have played to your kids.

My all time favorite game. Even more amazing now than I remember it. Updated graphics, game play holds up. Looks great in 3D. Very impressed. Thanks to Nintendo for recreating one of my greatest gaming childhood memories.

This is one of the great classics, now refreshed and looking better than ever on the 3DS version. If you like the Zelda series and haven't played this title you need to (waaayyy better than Majora's Mask)

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is considered by many as the greatest game made. Having played it when it was originally released for the Nintendo 64, I agree with that assessment. With this remaster, the graphics has been spruced up(e.g. texture has more detail, the town are fully 3d versus pre-rendered background), the 3d effect works great (with the New 3ds refresh), and the touch screen for item management makes swapping out weapons seamless (works great in the Water Dungeon when swapping out the boots). The games still holds up today and would recommend for anybody, especially to people who never played the original.

I never played a Zelda game from beginning to end except for this one. This has to be the best 30 hours I've ever spent playing a video game in my entire life. Most definitely a must have for any 3DS owner and any Zelda lover out there. The graphics are much more improved than the Nintendo 64 graphics. My only complaint about the game was having to use the L button to adjust the camera, but for those individuals with the Circle Pad Pro for the original 3DS and those with the New 3DS XL should be just fine. Regardless of the camera the experience was amazing!

Beautiful graphics, that wonderful soundtrack, the enthralling story, the 3DS version has it all and is easily the best port to ever be made of the legend.
